Tbf the vast amount of experience from the people of faerun they have with drow are raiding parties stealing family members or from the extremely rare drow who had left their society usually men who left due to them being lesser class citizens in drow society drizzt is a notable example of a famous male drow who left drow society and became an adventurer
Im surprised there wasn’t one for a deep gnome. I thought that there would be
In early versions before you could spare and recruit her, I got "faerie" as a half elf, too. Oddly enough that just made me wish I could beat her without killing her more. It would have been so much more satisfying to outsmart her when she could live to remember it. Oh well, maybe I can imagine she survived the bridge collapse and hid away in the Underdark.
i played as a half-drow and was expecting to get along with her… boy was i wrong
Now that dragon age is out, it makes sense why the devs of DA called out BG3 for having so many options and setting such a high standard for role playing games.
TFW a ghost steals your frickin’ job. 😢
My half-drow male: and yet we still did the nasty so... Where's that superiority?
"do not think that means we are equals jaluk"
Tav: what she doesn't know is I'm gonna make her my wife 🦹
Not going to lie, the first time she called me "faerie" I actually said, "the _FUCK_ did you just call me?" out loud.
Minthara did you just call me a fa-
Damn, that was some Skyrim level racism goin on there
@@michaellorah9051 Nah, that guy at Windhelm is worse than Minthara. 😂 He would’ve called her worse names.
@@PinkPixelBunnyI mean... No, not really. It's just that drow are elves instead of neanderthals so they have more eloquent insults. Darthiir is literally the worst word in the entire undercommon by none.
Great episode! Excellent pvp lmao
She definitely Hard R'd that male Drow but we still love her ❤
One thing that somewhat disappoints me is the lack of affiliation with Minthara as a cleric of Eillastraee (at least as a foe.) There is no warning or sense of grief when you kill her, as I’m sure Eillastraee would have felt. Now I’m not saying anything drastic, but I’m sure the goddess of good-aligned drow and freedom would grieve for a fallen drow who has not yet reached her embrace. Like it could have given us anything like a warning of some sort. Idk I just feel it was a hugely missed opportunity
Edit: Although in hindsight it might become annoying later on as then it would make it so she would warn and disapprove against killing ANY drow.
The way she says "faerie" no WAY that isn't a slur 😭
I didn't know you could hit faerie with a hard R like that..... but here we are
Me, a half-drow male: Uhhhh....
The way you can just tell which fantasy words are actual names and which ones are just slurs when she says them
Join my hunt, FAERIE--
Talind Arleth, re-incarnated across the planar realms from the times of Sarevok, Irenicus, Belhifet, The Lantern King, Deskari and many more: Ma'am, I have slain demons, gods, siblings, dragons, wound wyrms, eldar and any form of creature you can think of. Do NOT mistake me for a FAERIE.
For someone who doesn't like Half-Drow, she sure is on her way to producing some😏
Drow rasism is 100% justified smh
I too, am a fantasy racism enjoyer
Those underdark knife ears are kill on sight
Most underdark races are really racisme and am all her for it
...I want a woman who will call my "jaluk" like that...
I just did this bit last night as a male tiefling and iirc she called me a devil?
EDIT: nvm I just went through all the dialogue from last night and it was Dror Ragzlin who calls you a "True Soul Devil", not Minthara.
I never got any dialogue with her. For me it was on sight for some reason. No words just hands lol. And she died…badly. To be forgotten in those caves for the rest of eternity.
You Can't Call Astarion That Minthara 😮
I love her
I have done many things in the first act for her (no regrets)
"And obey me!"
😳😳😳 Sorry, Tieflings...
As a nonbinary drow, she acknowledged what I was, then asked me to join her hunt lol
Brabo
Lol i was going to be good but as soon as she calls me "fairy 😡" in that voice, i belong to her now
Minthara really is so underrated when it comes to your companions. Maybe it's my loyalty to Lolth, but she was easily my favorite. Just getting even a taste of Menzoberranzan back story and lore from her dialogue had me giggling like a school girl. LOL
Praise be sista
Who's hatred is bigger, Minthara to non-drow elves, or Astarion to gnomes lol
Join my hunt FA-
Jaluk is diabolical
The traitor was the traitor all along (Solas 😂)
She has the same reaction for half-elves as full elves, and that (along with there being no lore-based reason for me to knock her out, but kill the others) is why she had to die. Ain’t nobody talking to my Durge like that and living to brag about it. For obvious reasons 😬
So it’s either sexism racism or casual “join me”
