@@i.t.t. I totally agree with that. The word "try" just after the 2:00 screams Hua Hua. (one example) In my opinion, Caleb could not pick a better duo to be inspired by. They are my favorites. ❤
@@juliekeesee3499 beginning at 1:53, the up run sounds very much like Hua Hua... which is not a bad thing by any stretch of the imagination! The song may have hints of Dimash and Hua Hua, bit it's 100% Caleb Cole!!! Loved it!!!!!
It's a beautiful song.
I liked the dynamics, the changes in energy levels, the dramatic tension, the climax, the denouement, it all combined to tell a compelling story. Radio won't like it, but for a live performance? Dynamite. You'll have the audience on the edge of their seats, and at the end, they'll feel a sense of completion, as I did.
Your vocal range is - even in the age of Dimash - impressive as hell. Beautiful runs in the high registers.
A man who can sing in a soprano style amazes us, but that isn't what you are doing. Your voice is pure rock, very male in character, even in the high notes. It can't be mistaken for a woman's voice. You're giving us something quite different from Dimash's classically-trained voice. Dimash glides effortlessly over his high notes, even in his mixed voice; yours deliver more energy, more... I'm going to say, anguish. Longing. It doesn't sound effortless. It sounds like a man provoked by circumstances to exceed ordinary limits, to smash boundaries, to defy expectations, in order to be heard and understood.
You are a rare talent, Caleb.

Not that your talent needs to be validated with views and what not, but really, it pains me to see this song fly so low under the radar on RUclips land.
