Beach fishing is thoroughly relaxing, not to mention a great way to get a bend in your rod or catch a feed of fish. It is made a lot easy with the right gear and a little know how.
Mark Berg and Andrew Badullovich share some great tips on how and where the fish will be found along the beach, and how best to land them once you've hooked up!
Check out the awesome range of Daiwa Surf Fishing Gear that is lighter, stronger and harder wearing than ever before. In the hostile environment that a beach presents to expensive fishing gear, this new generation of rods and reels from Daiwa is sure to last the distance, no matter how often you fish, no matter what species you chase. Excellent production...thanks. I learned a lot.
Nice video. The total rod set up price is about 1.5 k. Great gear but not for everyone. I love daiwa. One of my reels costs 120 bakcs. 2 years - no problem and good performance.
Thx for all the advice
Finally caught something after using some of these tips / thanks guys
Great vid helped me enormously
Awesome video!!! Expecting my first Diawa beef stick surf rod in the mail in a few days. Haven't decided wht reel to buy for it. Checki g out more of your videos for clues.
7:50........we call those kahawai(strong water)here in nz they get over a metre long in peak season
I don’t think kahawai get that big bro
Daiwa all week!
DaiwaAustralia Hi... would you be able to tell me what model the Lateo he's using in the vid is please ? I have a Procargo and was looking to match it up with a Lateo. Thanks
How quick is the drag from the PROcargo compared with the basia ?
Many thanks
what is your fishing rod spec?
Daiwa, you should have someone like Alex Bellissimo do these videos. He has a lifetime of experience
how would you compare the two reels shown?
Kahawai!
it's nice to hear about how light all the new year is for fishing. However I am on a Disability pension. Have you seen the prices. great show any at regards Andy
Damn why daiwa love those t-handle knob so much?
They, and large ball knobs, provide optimum control on reels 2500 and larger.
give me a 4.5 m continental rod any day, I'll blast 150m into the back gutters thanks
May I ask where is it
Does anyone know what size rod is that the 10ft 6in or the 11 ft ?
maybe 12 or 14

Tathra / Bermigui
If the video was meant to show tips then what about the rigs used etc. etc...
that is what i thought as well. It is not an enough educational video. you can't assume that everyone would know the set up unless you show it to them. great point mate.

Mark berg
looks like tathra???
Ye it does. Deep in close
it is i got like a 60ccm in a minute
Your salmon damn near look like our new york blue fish
They are actually more closely related to your stripers.
The Australian salmon is not a salmon as such, the name comes from the early European settlers that thought it resembled a salmon. They are actually a species of sea perch, but streamlined, muscular and pound for pound one of the best sportfish swimming.
They have very similar behaviors to the bluefish, swim in the surf zone in schools tearing up bait fish, we get the identical species as bluefish here, they are called Tailor, I have caught Australian salmon and bluefish out of the same school before. Cheers all the best to you mate and stay safe with all this covid stuff going on.
Step 1: obtain sponsored truck from Isuzu
Step 2: obtain Daiwa sponsorship
Step 3: go surf fishing
Thats nice but.....that outfit is just shy of it not around the 700 dollar mark, lot of money to catch Salmon and Bream off the beach.
you dont have to buy it!. my bream setup is $1093 lol
@@kristianfennell5191 wow that's ridiculous!Whatever floats one's boat, if that's what your in to go for it.
na.. my graphite rod cost $100 . light as.
reel $168
relatively cheap setup that will last a long time
@@cs512tr nice, that dude in the video wanking on about how great those top end outfits were, he struggled like hell with that salmon.
I’d target flathead
Australian Salmon bahahahaha it's a Kahawai
+Kevin Jones Maybe in NZ
They are no more a salmon than you are
+Kevin Jones It's just a name get over it
This was an awful video.
+Kevin Jones same thing ya goose
Lol stronger then traditional... Don't think so
over playing a fish IE laying it on thick simply pisses the viewer off
