- Natasha Clark takes you through an eventful first full week of the election campaign.
Sir Keir Starmer started things off carefully before seemingly throwing caution to the wind and overseeing the deselection of several left-wing Labour members.
Rishi Sunak memorably began the campaign drenched in rain. After getting dried off, he made a series of policy announcements aimed at winning over older voters. But will this come at the expense of younger votes?
In true Lib Dem style, Sir Ed Davey embarked on a series of eye-catching photo opportunities - from paddleboarding to baking. And Richard Tice and Reform UK did their best to position it all as an 'immigration election.'
00:22 The Diane Abbott saga rumbles on
01:32 Rishi Sunak proposes National Service for 18-year-olds.
04:40 Lib Dems make a splash with unconventional campaign
05:09 Reform UK claim the election will be 'all about immigration.'

Conservatives are telling young people they need to mix with different types of people. Young people should tell Sunak to make some working class friends.
@kevin You think young people are that shallow?
So he should do national service. He's young enough.
What about Rees-mogg's children - they don't mix with anyone outside the Edwardian era.
Forcing 18 year olds into service? What could go wrong
It's incredible edible hearing a conservative MP claiming the country is divided. It is so clearly caused by them that it feels like that was the "plan" they keep on talking about.
The national service idea is such a show of desperation for votes.
UK went from 1st WORLD to 3rd WORLD in 15 years in many areas.. We know who governed for past 14 years...
What a serious disgrace the Tories are, completely shameless!
Completely useless!
Old people talking, young people dying.
Natasha gets her own show!? brilliant ☺
rishi Conservatives lie and laugh at you all the time, never experienced poverty or paain to have feelings for poor
The UK offers young people very little from when I arrived here in 95,
18 year old arrives at a barracks and doesn’t bother doing anything. What can go wrong……
Who in their right mind would want to see Sir Spiv Spanner in No 10... ?? 😂😮😅
None of them will do what they promote…………
One thing is guaranteed, to line their own pockets & charge us for it!
The Tories back pocket robbery trick is a real robbery
Labour: Serious stuff
Tories: Serious stuff
Reform: Being clowns
Lib Dems: Ed Davey having the time of his life
When else have you heard of the Lib Dems? If Ed doesn't do something mad everyone in the media will totally ignore him
@@Jonnyonthespot123 I don't blame him. I find it really funny and refreshing to see though.
I'd love to see them in oppersition instead of the tories... I've always said I'd be a lib dem voter if they were popular around my way but my area is a labour stronghold and even a goat would win the seat if it had a red ribbon on it.
@cry-rs7vv found the Reform bot
@cry-rs7vv and you come to that conclusion because I’m saying Reform are a total joke?
1:35 .. ooh, look at Fred Dibnah Sunak giving those bricks a seeing to.
He’s building a red wall.
It's a red wall
Love how sunak was holding that muck shovel
The tories support nanny state national service project.
1:24 ".. after days of dithering" ..
Sunak does not mix.
Bet those buses haven't got an mot.
Not so Cleverley
Jim Dimly to his chums.
James Cleverly - not so clever. He always refers to "lots of people" listen to him. Every time he's asked a question, he talks about the "lots of people" that he knows who agree with him. He never names these people, or proves any of it is true. It's the only thing he ever says. "I know lots of people who... bla bla bla" Total bs.
An upbeat presentation that appears to be promoting a level of politics that scrapes the barrel. To Me this looks like fake enthusiasm to mislead folk into thinking British Politics is still a credible entity.
Natasha Clark is hot.
She is pretty ❤
@@Spaceman-jk5fbpretty and smart.
@HamishM22I’ve never commented about Nick Ferrari.
@HamishM22oh ok. No problem. I was confused.
STOP repeating "What newspapers report" as if it was fact. It is very poor journalism and you should work to higher standards as a "Political" reporter.
As we've seen this week with the Abbott lies about her getting kicked out these so called journalists shouldn't believe every rumour they hear!
They've been beating on Starmer all week for something he didn't do!
It's social engineering.
Leftist condoned bigotry is still bigotry. She should stay removed from the party.
I can see what this lady said that was untrue.
Elaborate
James "I am intolerant of people protesting government and being able to freely express their opinions so let's punish them by telling them they are intolerant people and must learn how to tolerate people with opposing views" cleverly.
Most of the arguments being given relate to behavioural issues of the under 18s, so presumably the benefits from National Service at 18 will as a consequence be rather limited, that is of course assuming that there is any merit in the idea.
Should the theory be correct, surely it would be better to integrate it into the school curriculum at a much younger age, and over a longer period.
Can someone please explain to me as a Dutchie, why the UK people want to vote for the Labour Party? Im so confused?! The rest of Europe is become more rightwing as we want to stop this invasion, however the UK polls suggest that the Labour Party will win with a landslide. Someone pls explain!!!!!
Your first comment in 5 years🤔
