- Опубликовано: 6 фев 2025
- Kemi Badenoch discusses her candidacy for the Conservative Party leadership, emphasizing the need for the party to focus on its core values and practical solutions. She highlighted the party's past successes, such as managing the economy and creating a vaccine task force, and criticized the current technocratic approach by Keir Starmer.
Badenoch stressed the importance of personal responsibility and equality under the law. She also addressed the need to improve public sector productivity by reducing bureaucracy and focusing on essential services. Badenoch criticises the lenient sentencing of Huw Edwards and called for a review of sentencing guidelines. She dismissed David Lammy's emphasis on climate action over geopolitical challenges.

We don't want Tories or Labour they are just as bad as each other
Agree, they are two cheeks of the same backside.
Vote for Liberal Democrats
@@stayhappybetrue Have you forgotten what they did in the coalition? they are just as bad as the two main parties
all of them are the goddamn same, even reform
@@hyperion447 Agree and Farage just wants to turn Reform into the new Tory party anyway.
She is such a pleasure to listen to. So sincere and decent. 😅
She's restating the obvious and its old hat in toto!
She is great
We don’t want Tories, we don’t want Labour. Sick of this two party system
Spot on. She had 14 years to influence events. She failed time after time.
The country desperately needs change for the better.
Vote Reform at each and every opportunity.
Same here.
It's like these ppl have forgotten they put us in this situation as a whole! We have Labour through Tories.
It has to be Reform for the future
100% they were given a huge majority and just carried on with the same uniparty politics, so many have woken up to the nauseating state of corrupt politics we need real Reform from top to bottom. I will never ever vote for the the uniparty ever again
No way the Tories will ever win back this reform voter. You had over a decade and did nothing to reverse terrible labour policies that Blair brought in.
REFERENDUM on Mass Immigration
I like Kemi, but sorry you did not COVID well , Rishi spent too much money and Boris was hopeless .
I will say that I wish Toties were still in power rather than this absolutely disastrous Starmer and his embarrassing MP’s in his cabinet .
However tories were 10 times better
They did far better than what Labour proposed. They wanted lockdown to last longer and the same with furlough
I voted Reform with no regrets, and unless things change dramatically I will vote Reform again. However, if Kemi becomes leader of the Conservative Party, and IF she looks as if she can really deliver a truly conservative agenda then I would consider voting for them. Two big IFs but Jenrick would not get my vote.
And remember labour just wanted to spend more and more on Covid so thank god they weren’t governing us.
Posh totties?
17:45 - “David Lammy is not a serious man by any stretch of the imagination. This goes back to his appearance on Mastermind where he said Henry VII succeeded Henry VIII”
I am 76 and voted Conservative all my voting life apart from 2 times, once voting labour as a tactical vote against a sitting MP, and once LibDem as he was a great sitting MP. BUT never ever will I vote Conservative again. Too late, far too late, sorry Kemi.
I hope you are not afftected with the winter fuel allowance
I am glad she's the leader of the Conservatives.
REFORM UK

Sorry had youre chance so have labour' it's you lot and labour that are pushing us to reform and i never thought i would' but that's who's getting my vote in the next election...
Never again in my life will you get my vote; reform all the way
@@staceydobbsthen be prepared for forever Labour
As a former lifelong Tory I wouldn't vote for the Unipartyists even if they paid me to. And theirs and Badenoch's repeated attacks on Farage is a a large part of the reason.
@@stevevider1097 farage is free from criticism is he? He praised Badenoch for being a conservative warrior in 2022, and now is saying the opposite? It’s posturing that’s it
never voting Tories again.
or Labour
Machiavellian Kemi her face tells it all
Kemi is politician who should be listened to and a true leader. She is for the people. I have not been in awe of a politician since Tony Benn. She hit the nail on the head we need to fix the political system. She’s always straight to the point. Never avoids a questions answers everything and never rambles. Kemi for Prime minister . 🇬🇧💯👍🙏💥☀️🌍🌟
Vote reform!
She is likeable and charming as an individual and her different insights being an engineer not a lawyer/ Barrister for a change are of value but she is not being strong enough about immigration and woke absurdities and in this interview she did a couple of times go party before country, suggesting personal career is motivation. She is also wrong that all Reform voters are conservative people, they are both sides of the Tory Labour machine that are pissed off with country and culture decay .
Kemi is the best.
Tories are done for we dont want them we dont ned them, same with labour. The two of them are well past their sell by date
Kemi is elegant, sophisticated, and intelligent. I like her very much.
Nigerian immigrant with an agenda!
I like Kme she is a strong strait talking will make a good conservative leader
Vote reform! She's a criminal hacker!
I think I like this woman Kemi , it’s a shame she didn’t replace Borris back then, it mite ave got them reelected. Think it mite all a bit late.
I like her 😊
The chances of me EVER voting Conservative again is nil.
If Kemi is good for fixing so why she doesn't go back to Nigeria to fix there?
I want to give her a chance i wanted her to win last time! But it might be too late.
Kemi needs to think big about the future of the nation state and the threats to it. If it were up to me I’d be looking at the more circular economy we used to have and reversing a lot of globalisation. Having a stable sized, culturally homogenous population. Far far less reliance on places like Saudi and China. Rules to prevent foreign ownership of property and businesses. Our own energy supplies. Things like that . I think we need to build a country that is ALWAYS war resilient so if our gas gets cut off by Ukraine we have a back up, if the EU plays silly buggers with food we have the ability to supply our own essentials, that our people are capable of defending ourselves, that we keep our competences in engineering, steel production and defence
Built up and dropped. What the hell did he expect?
If every country have no money to spend.then who have all the money.its must be the privetceter.people are suffering it a first word country
Kimi could be perfect
Kemi was and still is the best candidate after Boris Johnson, I said that from the very begining, now that is somewhat strange for me because I have a dislike for the Conservatives who behave like the Jewish Elders with regard to the Sabbath day. I am a firm believer in doing what works and is good for the people even if they can't see it now. So for me Kemi has wide knowledge of the politics and operation of government. That is essential for any leader of a country, party or action group. Kemi is miles ahead, she did not have the right colour first time but now we know that colour matters not, its Substance that matters.Core Principles and Standards with Flexibility to navigate a changing environment and shifting world require pragmatic Leadership with keen eyes. Kemi Badenoch is among the best on the world stage today and tomorrow.
I used to be a conservative voter. Never again as 14 years of downward direction. Refused to carry out Brexit. Refused to stop the boats. Inward migration ridiculous numbers when promising to lower it time and time again. Refusing to leave the ECHR shall I go on.
Agree with all that, but don't forget Johnson and others' ruinous rush into net zero policies.
Listen to her 90 percent and watch her at, worst 10%. You would gain a lot, Madam Interviewer, for yourself, humanity and the world
The tories didn't even deliver 'a Conservative party.' Had you managed to do that Labour would never have got anywhere near being elected.
Kemi Badenoch seems like a nice person.
Her mission is to save the conservative party....why is that a goal?
Why do I want there to be a conservative party?
That seems it is only helpful to conservative mps
Yea, shrink the public sector... it's worked out well so far hasn't it. Hopefully we can sell some more stuff to China like our water supply. We could sell off the government a Qatari wealth fund as well.
She needs to be Tory leader to win back the disaffected voters. Labour will hate her as opposition leader. She needs to be aggressive at the despatch box. Farage is okay but he's leading a party without the infrastructure.
Personally I’m 100% reform this country needs a change in direction away from the mainstream parties but I do like Kemi badenoch she talks a hell of a lot of sense.
I'll be sticking with Reform.
She hasn’t convinced me I’m still voting reform
yes the Vote Reform comments on every video is back 😆😅🤣😂
Sorry can't vote conservatives again you would have to proper re align with conservative values including common sense
I'm sure they'll say that. Like delivering Brexit in 2019.
reform doesnt align with conservative values either
Ask Kemi how her mother deliberately had her in the UK for a British passport? She's open about it
Remember that Thatcher also had PRINCIPLES - Well said Kemi that principles are central
This is a joke the Tories have to many leftists in the party.
‘too’
What are you too like?!😂
'two'
We have an ageing population that is often looking after grandchildren so both parents can work, providing financial support and the largest group when it comes to voluntary work. Many stay on at work after pension age still paying tax. Many using their savings to pay for health care top ups like physio, dental care etc. Plus they always have to be able to pay for help and care when needed . Don’t let’s mention care homes £1,500 per week.
Try winning Labour voters as they may have just been shocked into "Never vote Labour" and be looking for an alternate.
That would be straight forward actually. They won a lot of swing voters as they weren’t the tories. Now they’ve practically crashed at an all time rate and that means by the time of the budget they will be on life support and have a country who hates them more than they did the tories. If they can’t even crack 30% in polling now god knows what state they are in after the budget. And they will be on a plate to mess around for the locals which at this rate may well be a apocalypse for Labour and they deserve it
look how many of our mates were made millionairs look how much money you wasted on ppe look at the lies ect ect ect
Polls do not vote or choose a party leader or a prime minister.
THERE IS NO POLITICAL SOLUTION
This interviewer is very interrupting. She intends to mess Kemi up intentionally.
Best of a bad bunch.
Kemi Kemi Kemi
I am so happy Kemi was chosen, and i really hope she can deliver. Starmer should be quaking in his boots. You won't see Kemi avoid questions or live interviews.
I’d rather have Kemi than Keir. But she doesn’t sound anymore conservative which she claims
How come during Covid time some ministers were involved in setting up companies that were involved in covid vaccination.
So many empty words but no substance. She was unable to tell at least one good thing they have done
As long as Kimi is not talking about a new industrial revolution for the UK with ideas to boot or is not talking about taking the UK out of the jurisdiction of foreign courts or laws, then she is not ready.
I would vote Tory if Kemi was leader
i really like kemi she would be a good leader -
18:12 Lammy on Mastermind 😂😂😂 More like MasterClueless!!! Henry VII SUCCEEDED Henry VIII 🤣🤣. Well what do you expect from somebody that studied at Harvard - where they come out obnoxiously arrogant thinking they are God’s gift to the world.
Kemi makes a lot of sense about how to fix the UK: governance engineering.
Surely it's up to businesses to decide what works for them or not? Flexible working is more likely to bring people back into the workforce rather than deter them, so I would have thought that would be a good idea for businesses. People who can work around family responsibilities are more likely to return to work.
It sounds nice but it’s impractical. You can’t have employees dictating to employers endlessly like that otherwise you make businesses subservient to its employees. That always ends in disaster.
@@thomashowe1509 yeah but its a slippery slope that ends with borderline socialism if you take that thinking too far
They didn't listen when in Gov and they still haven't learned.
Absolute state of that thumbnail and the UK
She seems very smart, and she seems honest and trustworthy, but nobody wants the Tories back.
What we want is a Conservative government.
Vote Labor, Get woke lefties. Vote Lib Dems, Get woke Lefties. Vote Conservatives, Get woke Lefties.
Vote Reform, If they end up woke lefties, All is lost.
yes the Vote Reform comments on every video is back 😆😅🤣😂
I’ve been watching Kemi since I first heard her do an amazing pro Brexit speech in London years ago. I thought then she would be a big deal and i was right
Vote Reform it’s the only way forward
yes the Vote Reform comments on every video is back 😆😅🤣😂
Personally, as a disillusioned centrist, Kemi is the best candidate for conservative leader. The only one who has fought for Women’s and girls Rights that have been ebbing away and under Labour it will continue thanks to insane ideology. If she wins I will vote conservative.
I get the feeling most people are disillusioned at this point. People just want someone who they can actually like and not hate their guts, which is their feelings towards starmer. And second someone who can get Britain out of its malaise and revive its spirit. The amount of negativity about this country is sickening and whoever brakes through that will stand out in a good light.
I have the perfect position within government for Lammy, Court Jester
Labour wants to talk about a black hole and growth but by the end of the year there will be a worsening financial situation because there will be either zero or negative growth.
We need Kemi Suella, Penny, Ann Widdicombe, Nigel Farage and Katie Hopkins & Tony Robinson and then I would feel that country is back . Might be a fantasy but it’s a good one
We're all waiting for our moment Charlie....
what is preventing UK people not to vote this lady to become PM?
Sensible women.
The levels of illiteracy on display in the comment section really doesn't do much to dispel the GB News stereotype 😆
not answering the questions. Talking about failings in other countries but the UK public dont care, things failed here.
If Badenock was leader I might actually vote Conservative . . . Maybe . .
David "Henry VI" Lammy. A lawyer?
Quite right of Julia to raise the GDP per Capita of which we are currently down in 21st place and falling a long way short and of course, if people keep coming here things can only deteriorate from there. Imagine that for a moment, the sixth biggest economy but in relation to GDP per Capita, outside the top 20.
I've talked about the need for smaller government. The damage was done by Blair, introducing a second tier of government in 3 of the 4 territories that make up the UK and this at a time when we had all the MEP costs to meet and our contributions to the EU. It seemed to all those people on the outside looking in that we were all sold a dummy over the increased costs of government giving rise to shed loads more politicians whilst putting nothing back into the economy. That was a serious amount of damage caused right there and we have seen the bloating of admin costs everywhere as these people built their little empires within corporates and institutions.
Time to rationalize the big government mentality and start releasing the pressure on the private sector.
Bring back the lettuce not liz trust just the lettuce 😂😂😂😂😂
This nonsense of the conservative is a broad church is we're they are going wrong. U can't hav ,5diffrent party in one . I Al have to sing from the same hymn book 😢
At this point they should decide what they want to be. Conservative in the mould of Badenoch or centrists like Cleverley and Tugenhadt. They will not be able to function if they both exist to disrupt each other. To me it’s clear the right are going to take control so they become right wing. And say to the one nations either put up or shut up. And to those who say anything other cite thatcher. She was as right wing as they come yet moderates supported her overwhelmingly 3 times.
STARMER OUT!
I like Kemi, think she'll make a great opposition leader. But vote Tory? Nope.
No tax on overtime work
Lammy is out of his depth not qualified give us politicians who can do the job
@1:30 If Badenoch thinks convid and the injection rollout is a great legacy of the last government then lord help us.
Deep voice
We need more prisons. No need initially to build prisons, make tented prison encampments on remote Scottish islands. That will work very well. Cheaper startup, and no attempts at escape, and a definite deterrent. Similar camps can be created for the illegal immigrants.
I like Kemi but I need to see real conservatism, not the quasi-socialism of the past 14 years.
Kemi will be a great British Prime Minister in 2029, and I'm sure that after five years of Labour, people will start to agree. 🎉
Tory love in.
The sooner Kemi Badenoch becomes the Prime Minister the better off the United Kingdom will be
It doesn’t matter what Kemi thinks. Her party won’t let her do it. They got rid of Thatcher, Boris and Truss. Right wing leaders do not survive in the Liberal Tory Party. Vote Reform UK 🇬🇧
So real and natural, she is always saying things the way they are instead of the way she feels, always objective and sincere, in terms of her opinion towards critical issues, you are blessed with immense Knowledge in modern politics, that no leader in the world can be compared to
vote reform.
yes the Vote Reform comments on every video is back 😆😅🤣😂
Future PM rock and roll Kemi👍🇬🇧
She seems alright. Vote Reform next time round gang.
If you're reading this Kemi, I like you but I'm not going to vote for either Conservatives or Labour ever again. Especially Labour. You won't do what needs to be done, either of you. The country is simply overrun with immigrants (many are here illegally) and it's getting worse everyday. There is nowhere for them to go, we can't house them, the health and educations services are at breaking point, what are we going to do ? Added to that, there is a problem with the complete lack of integration from a certain foreign culture that is incompatible with secular free British society. No one wants to say anything, they just stick their heads in the sand hoping it will go away. It won't. Reform are the only party now that will address this, that's why I'm voting Reform.
If you successful why lost waste of space having her
