      @@PeanusParker did you order from lensable? I just got mine and only one side I can see out of. So be careful.

      @@silentry that sucks sorry to hear that but, no I bought frames from a retail store since they were on sale for 179$ and then I went to my local lens crafters/optometry place and had them make lenses for it. I got polycarbonate lenses for only 94$ so in total it was like 310$

      @silentry 3 года назад +1

      @@PeanusParker yeah for me the total was $306 lol but I'm having them remake the lenses like the right one I can see perfectly fine just the left one is terrible. Hopefully yours turns out correctly tho.

      @@silentry how are they? I didn't even get to use them yet after I bought them I went straight to the lens place and they had to keep the frames I hope it's worth it lmao. I mainly bought them because I use my glasses daily and I usually need music to help me focus/lower my anxiety but since In the army we can't use earbuds in uniform or play music out loud these will definitely help me

    I wear prescription glasses myself. I also need to get some new glasses. I also want to get some Apple AirPod pros. Bose glasses and AirPods pro. Are going to be the same price about. I’ll be wearing one all the time. After a lot of research I’ve decided I’m getting the Bose with my prescription. Reason I’ve decided to do this Apple glass. By the time Apple glass 2nd gen come out .I will need to visit my eye doctor to get my eyes checked again.

    i think bose estimates 3 hours of music playback. Not sure where you got the 10 hour battery life number.

    Do you have to download the app for frames alto to work or can they be used without getting the app?Thankyou!

      @vanessajones9455 2 года назад

      Hi Michael, no app required for use. They don't work independently of course (no micro USB card). You will need to use your android/iphone/ipad via a music app (Spotify/Apple Music) via Bluetooth to connect. When you turn them on each time, they tell you the battery % as well (so no Bose app needed either)

      The BOSE “rondo” version of these sunglasses (sunnies) IMMEDIATELY found my lost iphones!!
      Riding my new Brompton with my handlebar bag, which contained 2 x iphones, credit cards, cash & drivers licence etc, I heard the Bose sunnies music start to “crackle” (I was listening to the Spotify app) and about 30secs later the sunnies spoke to me saying: “Vanessa’s iPhone disconnected”. I looked down and my purse had dropped off the bike!!. In a panic, I turned around & backtracked my ride. I started looking for the bright coloured lost purse! As I was riding back, outside of someones house, my Bose sunnies said: “Vanessa’s iphone CONNECTED”. So, I knocked on the door and confidently said: “My BOSE earphones told me my phones & purse is inside this house”. They quickly handed over the purse (luckily) but I certainly knew they were in there because before I knocked I had moved onto the house next door (using the footpath) and the BOSE told me that I was “disconnected” again & reconnected when I moved back to their house. So, I knew I had the correct house.
      Therefore, I could retrieve my purse IMMEDIATELY due to these sunnies. How cool it that! (In lieu of riding another 3kms home, using my laptop on the Apple website to “find my phone” ).

      Nice review very good I'm going to use it very similarly I have a question how long did your optometrist take in crafting the lenses for you and did you have to leave the actual frames with them? Good tips and tricks also, especially about having some play when they make the lenses and how easily they pop in and out. I bought The Tenors which have branding on them by the way.

      Hey thanks John... sorry for the late reply but yes I left with optometrist explaining to make them a little looser than normal so they could be swapped in and out easily. They luckily did a good job. I had to get a replacement set of glasses from Bose approx 10 months in due to an electrical issue.. The new pair seemed a little tighter but I still got the lenses in. Let me know what you think of the Tenors.
