I think pacing strategy can be greatly improved. Yes, everyone has equal time to rest, but stronger riders have to rest at lesser power so recover for their effort better. Also don't see if particular strengths were played like climber pacing on the climb and aero expert spending more time on flats

The Olympic record for 100km in teams is 52km/h average and you did 40km/h without the full aero setup and no previous prep. I was expecting around 45km/h average though. I am sure you would have achieved it without traffic and Simon bonking at the end. This is an outstanding and impressive result. Congratulations you did great. I've seen you guys in other serious group rides together and I've seen you all compete against each other which are fun episodes. This one with the 3 of you representing the matching GCN cycling jerseys and your high performance bikes along with all of your fitness levels just shows how incredibly professional you all are when necessary. It's all fun and games in other episodes but there are times that the world needs to see you all that you are no joke! Top effort and love the videos like this, tough when you bonk like that. Great watch.

Si had no fluids? That's a recipe for a massive bonk. Ollie had the ride plan.

That effort definitely deserves a like. I have to wonder though, knowing now that on road bikes that trip takes about 2.5 hours, would you try again on TT bikes, Hammer Series style?

That was a great watch. Thanks to all concerned. Here's a thing. IF roads were designed with Si's last video in mind (the Motornormativity one) How much harder would this one have been to make? This is the rub to the wonderful every day cycle network idea - Would a chain gang on your usual roads would be even more dangerous if cycle lanes were separate wholly?

I did 75km (circular-ish route) in 3 - 6ºC temperatures, 35-40Km/h winds, nearly 800m of climbing & it took me 3 Hr 30-something minutes this morning. I got home and I was falling-over exhausted. This looks like a cake-walk in comparison.

Another example of what a team player Alex is. Waiting and then pushing Si when he's bonked. Ollie not so much.
