Yet another good comparison! I have a fuel customs intake on my z400. It's actually the trx450 fuel customs intake so its waaay larger than the velocity intake and filter I had on it! Lol
Good videos as always , would be interesting to know if makes any difference with the sides cut off the air box leaving the under tray as some sort of protection from dirt an water an see if any bigger gains probs not much but abit more I bet as the air filters bigger on the monster composited to the fix but fci changes the intake aswell so
Are you going to do a video going through everything you put in this raptor and took off comparing the HP with the different Mods? Also what is your end HP goal for this bike ?
I think the Monster would be better if you ride in water and mud with the protection from splashing up from the airbox. Dry weather the Fuel customs would be the clear winner.
Dakotah Heldt it’s not much work making a frog skin lid and drilling a hole and epoxying a collard fitting with a stopper on it , don’t get me wrong it’s work but it’s worth it in the long run if you enjoy riding with a few extra ponies and stock reliability.
Great work as always , closer than I thought it would be. I plan on more mods in the future so I don’t feel like I wasted my money getting the FCI.

Hope I made the right choice. I bought monster. Paid $140. I know FCI's go for 300+. I'm going with Dual Empire on my 15+ 700 as well as my dynotek.
I inquired monster and unless your making over 70hp they said the monster intake is fine.

There is an air box version of the Fuel customs.
Yea there is an airbox version but doesn't seal very well at all compared to stock plus has no drain for water on fci box
