Playing Era because Blizzard promised not touching it.
Pvp gear with no class requirements and druid using pole arms is a huge W but its something that should be in a classic + setting, not something added to the only classic wow option we have

I've only ever played Horde, so i had no idea that Alli didnt even have an equivalent buff to Rend. Blew my mind.
I think it's worse than Blizz meddling with Classic Era. It's Blizz making mistakes and pretending they did stuff on purpose. Complete botchery.
Kargoz, might I suggest linking to the forum post about this in ALL of your videos? That way whoever see this can quickly get to a place where they can go tell Blizzard Devs to POUND SAND!

The UI changes to make it streamline for development makes sense. The changes to the game however is dumb no one asked for it

It’s not classic if they change it. I came back after 10 years to play classic. Retail is garbage and they destroyed the community through quality of life improvements. We don’t want or need that in classic. You can’t fix it or make it better.
When did Kargoz become a male model? Hardcore indeed.
Even if all the petition does is get them to halt future "improvements" it's a win. Personally I loved revisiting classic and trying hardcore, but what would bring me back again is classic with all new content where the old content is either optional or removed.
We have season of discovery for this sort of thing, which personally Im loving and hope they push forward with. But I understand where you guys are coming from.
I don't know, I've met Classic(?) via Season of Discovery, I really liked the experience overall but they have basically turned it into Retail with crappy graphics. I personally would've loved additional content, changes, tweaks on Classic as Retail feels so cluttered right now. But, if they are failing to balance things out without disturbing the authenticity of the Classic Era, they should just leave it as it is. I may not like it personally but I'm not their target audience on this matter anyway.
I signed because I agree with not touching classic. But…. Might of stormwind is something I actually like. I hate having to coordinate with the horde to get rend buff. It’s immersion breaking for me on a PvP server since you have to use a third party software to make it happen. Also dispelling world buffs is toxic trash gameplay and griefing imo. The vanilla devs never meant nor intended for those buffs to be dispelled
Source on vanilla devs intent on world buffs? Seems crazy that they would allow them to be dispelled for 14 years if it was something they didn't want.

this has nothing to do with weather the chances are good or not, its about blizzard once again doing something they said they wouldnt do, they do this in classic and retail so the real problem has nothing to do with politics

How’s Ascension doing? That server laid the groundwork for SoD but did it better than Blizz.

That's the issue is people wanna have their cake and eat it too. There is no cohesive direction that all classic wow players want. Some want #nochanges, some want #somechanges and others want a full on classic+ with #lotsofchanges. There is a few things we all agree we DON'T want, but very few agreements on what we DO want.
That was a change in phase 6 of 2019 classic tho. BEFORE the tbc pre patch. Watch the whole video

My thoughts:
blizzard didnt do this to their benefit???? They put in these changes for your benefit. To be honest, yall are being hypocritical. Classic era is not truly the vanilla experience anymore. For example: buying a shit ton of gold, GDKPs, Warcraft logs, using an absurd amount of addons and even having a better internet connection is all not true and pure to the original vanilla experience.
Thunderfury being 50% smaller is so not cool. Its the coolest weapon in the game. It has to be big.
Nixxioms arguement about bungie and halo isnt a reasonable comparison. Blizzard didnt add items into the game, nor cosmetic micro transactions into classic era that would imply that those items wouldn't have stats which would make this a null change. The guild UI change is insignificant because its not much more of an improvement over the original. User friendly changes are often quality of life changes which are in my opinion are welcome and I believe is something that should be done to classic era. It doesn't effect gameplay or leveling pace.
I personally think if they added in the LFG (not queuing) UI that was available during early Classic WotLK it would be a nice change. Posting up that you were LFG for X, Y and Z with a note felt appropriate to the MMO experience by boosting player interactivity by making it more simple instead of having to spam or install any addons or join new channels just to find a group. You were just simply flaggeing your self available to anyone on the server.
I also would welcome additional tools to enhance the vanilla game experience. Like the ping system or setting markers on a map. also an updated profession and quest log.
Them allowing druids to have polearms is kinda sketch tho. but then again, I'd have to see if it really changes the balance of feral/bears at all. as long as they don't find some crazy broken mechanics with chance on hit weapons with cat attack speed then I don't really care.
Giving alliance a rend buff is understandable. it is a big change but again its for the benefit of the players as a quality of life change. Alliance no longer have to go through the bullshit of mind controlling their alliance toons in barrens to get rend which is kinda fair.
I guess the TL;DR is that as long as the Vanilla ice cream recipe isn't changed, it doesn't matter what packaging is.
Where were the people who were mad about these recent changes for Classic purist reasons when Blizzard changed the debuff limit, added to chronboon, and forever changed the way that PvP ranking works?
I dont like the changes as much as anyone but the slippery slope or Classic purist reasons seem like disingenous talking points in context.
