Beautiful boats. Awesome designs. You've got to love the man cave for the engine compartment.

Such a great review. Very very few videos like this. Well done. By the way, I really like your demeanor.

Thanks a lot! Glad you like it! It`s just good fun and easy being enthusiastic about the boat ...and lucky having with Graham Snook, one of the best photographers on board, helps even more ;-)

Sirius Werft You’re very welcome. I can see why it’s easy to be enthusiastic about your boats. Can’t wait to sea trial one. Thanks for the response.

Very impressive. This is the technique you use in generell (w single rudder) but here it works really well. What keel is used here? Does it work similar with any of the keel versions?

Yes, it´s really child`s play and comes with the close distance between central rudder and propeller and the relatively big ruder surface. This very one was a 1,25m twin keeled Sirius 310 DS. It´s the same like on any single fin keel. Only if you go for a swing keel with only 0,75m draft you are left with double rudders who lose a lot by the prop wash running between the rudders

I wonder if those vertical tubes on the back are for davits? Are there pre-designed removable davits? That would be handy.

Yes, they are. The davits live in the cockpit locker together with the dingy until needed and than just slot in

I've used those techniques on center hung rudder before never to that degree of but if you watch the 40ds manuevabily video's he dose the same thing, which I always thought you had to sacrifice maneuverability, anyway both are equally impressive great engineering guys, Y'all should give me one for such a great post lol
