In the Realm of Lost Hearts
Your heart, once entwined with mine,
Wandered to realms unknown,
I never dreamed it would decline,
And leave me all alone.
Memories, in colors bright,
Still bear your tender trace,
Whispering to me through the night,
In every gentle breeze’s embrace.
Hand in hand, you softly spoke,
What have you wrought in vain?
Is this madness, or just a joke,
Ignoring my silent shame?
Is this love, or mere folly?
You left behind what was yours.
Devastating is our love story,
A storm that forever pours.
Till the end, I searched for you,
But found you not in sight.
Still, I tread the road I knew,
Seeking shadows in the night.
That enchanting gaze, so profound,
I chase in dreams so deep.
Forever lost, yet still around,
In the corners where I weep.
You changed my soul, my heart’s core,
Yet your image won’t fade away.
On the shelf, your whispers soar,
In the waves of yesterday.
Words left unspoken, true,
Fill my heart with grief and loss.
Devastating, this love we knew,
A burden I can’t toss.
Devastating is this love’s might,
I thought it would always stay.
Yet, here I stand, alone in the night,
Lost in your love’s cruel sway.
