I am TORTURED, abused / mentally and physically, although these words have too narrow a scope and do not reflect the range of situations that I have experienced and still experience.
It is not my words or body sensations that are being thrown at me, I feel like I am on a leash, not myself.... etc.
I am constantly so "torn"/"torn" that the only solution is to commit suicide.
It is very likely that I will finally manage to do it (I have tried many times) and thus escape from this situation.

Sitting here, awake too early and doomscrolling through my feed filled with bad news about politics and climate issues, I felt a deep sense that “I don’t want to be alive in this world.” Then this video appeared on my screen, like a response to my unuttered thoughts.

When you are ready for the teacher they show up. For me it was a book that fell off the shelf basically. I was in dire need of reminding me of who and what I am. Sort of like this video. We are in existant.

Alan is my most favoured speaker on the nature of existence. I find others who dismiss him as not being sufficiently patient to see through the veil of phenomena and emotions. The idea of Zen, is as Thomas Berry was wont to state: "Nothing is itself without everything else." Alan very simply explains in his own way, that our humanity is entangled and intertwined with our essential underlying nature of being; that they are as inseparable as a crest is from a trough, to create a wave.
Next to Alan Watts , Rupert spira seems to be in the same frequency...

I did that. Initially for a long time I couldn’t really get it right so it was an on and off thing but eventually I developed the skills and had enough motivation to really go for it this time and it worked. The problem was it worked so well that I kind adeveloped an ego. The world and my mind really did open up for me but I got attached to this one thing and ended up losing some of the mindsets that got me here. Eventually I had to let that thing go because I thought that was the right thing to do but I didn’t realize how much it hurt me so I kept ignoring it until I got lost so I’m not sure where I am anymore.
I wish everyone listening great health, love,light, and prosperity it is our birthright.

A human being's journey is from his circumference as a movable observer to his centre as an immovable witnessor. The moment he completes this journey he is no more in bondage of this mayik jagat or illusionary world. Only then he can say "I am not deha or body, I am atman or energy which has no physical structure but flowing in the same frequency as jagatprakriti, only then he can understand that actually he is never in the bondage of birth and death but always free to flow as infinite energy in the prabaha of prakriti or fluid flow of nature, in the unending construction and destruction process of prakriti or nature.
God is NOT. The real God is a Oneness, the Absolute. Everything. It does not judge, it allows. It is given to You, this tiny fractal of Onesness, to choice how you flow, where you flow, or indeed if you do not. The Oneness does not judge, simply gives you Life, to play, to learn, to make mistakes (sin! In aramiac to miss the mark), to love, to do “bad” things and realise how you destroy your best self that way. You are not your mother, your father, your school teacher, the local priest. You are You, a wee part of Oneness. You choose the journey. Watch what happens when you choose to do it in positiveness, joy, agape, giving and receiving freely.
God Is. The Tao is. Is it so difficult to think of Tao as God? I had a problem with God till I realized that I was the variable in this cosmic equation and my problem wasn’t with God, it was with hypocrisy of dogma. Consider it before dismissing it.
God is whatever you want it to be

my wife of 45years got a death sentence. They even gave her a date, like an execution date. It’s called a prognosis. My family, being two adult children, snatched her away and got the landlord to send an eviction notice. My daughter, now 45, is a nurse in a major hospital. What did i do? Nothing. I did nothing to deserve this. Now I live in the back of my car at a dog beach in australia. At my age, with a heart condition. It’s tantamount to murder. The government takes it’s sweet time to process the marital assets with no duty of care. That’s reality. It’s cruel and random.

it feels cruel and random and always will-until so much suffering one day gives way to the reality of our cosmic consciousness. suffering is the ultimate catalyst for spiritual awakening. it teaches you to truly give up, it erodes the ego until all that's left is the perfect awareness that is you and always has been you.
it seems to be random, though, and i understand the grief of this realization probably better than most people i know. reading spiritual texts, praying, fasting, etc. can aid in the realization of cosmic consciousness, but it's not guaranteed any results, even if somebody feels as though they've done everything correctly. likewise, i believe it doesn't always come to people who've suffered immensely, because the person suffering expects it in return for all the grief they've endured.
i think the key is to not expect an end to suffering, but to embrace the roughness of it. the only way out is through.
something that helps along the way, though, is to deliberately and selflessly put goodness out into the world, even if it feels like you don't have any inside of you. even if you're not accustomed to it. a simple, genuine smile offered to a lonely stranger is a good start and enough to change a lifetime. doing little things like this here and there will make it possible for good things to happen to you in return.

i had this really strange dream last night that i was watching some sort of documentary on alan watts (which doesnt exist) and at various points i interacted with him. i really need to get better at writing dreams down.

This play of energy can and does manifest any number of horrific scenarios- medieval torture for instance. If it goes on eternally we will suffer such occurrences an infinite number of times. Alan Watts is essentially saying we shouldn't be fundamentally afraid, because any such hellish state is temporary and we will not be subject to it forever; such is the transient nature of this universe. But if you incarnate into an AI hell realm that lasts for eons of time (and such a scenario is possible within the infinite multiplicity of realities and experience) then one could dare to say that this is rather terrifying- even on a fundamental level. Alan Watts was an optimistic man. I am not entirely certain however, that we should not be fundamentally afraid.

How come there are no videos of him talking? Always just audio.
He died in 1973, so there wasn't a lot of video back then, but there are some. I bought 3 VHS tapes of him (before DVDs came out) and you can watch them on RUclips if you pay. Here is a sample of one of those VHS tapes, search for video: "Alan Watts - Leave the World Alone"

The background sound is beautiful! The A is at 432 hertz, the other notes are tuned around that. This frequency is associated with health, relaxation. M9dern music is 440 hertz, which doesn't have that same power.
