    I would like to see some Alekhine from black. Great series on him. I'd never heard of him, but I enjoy all his matches.

    Simply amazing. I was thinking about the rook lift. Just to show off that the knight cant capture? But no! If the rook lifted to e3 then this amazing queen retreat would not be possible. He saw all that in advance!

    Another incredible game from Alekhine. Yes, he would have to have been a beast to beat Capablanca for the world championship.

    thank you for these instructive games mato. especially alexhine and botvinnik were chess monsters. and yes, tal and bobby fischer was also good, but they aren't not like them.

    Alekhine is best of all time. I really wish there was a match between Alekhine and Tal

    Alekhine and Tal liked to make it so complicated that the opponent would lose their way. Here Apel blocked an escape square with his castle. Best play is a draw

    Those two knights, side by side, like Bronze Age chariots, one or both bearing possibly a Greek Gift , might have made Apel go into a defensive shell.

    Great game played by the great player Alekhine but i still think when it comes to attack Mikhail Tal is the greatest in the history of the chess.

      It's possible that someone is sponsoring Mato to make an Alekhine series. In which case, good for Mato. If he's just doing it because he loves Alekhine's games, that's still awesome because it's a very instructive collection.

      Sometimes Mato makes a series of games of one player. If he s done with all the interesting and instrictive games he switches to random games or the next interesting chess player!
