Thanks Mato! I really liked this - a good exercise on Friday after a hard working day with sparkling wine (and some whisky) -you really manage to make this as an entertaining but at the same time an educating event!
at 5:46 instead of putting rook to G8 he coudve put rook to G1 the White knight has to eat it and after that he just put bishop to G4 check mate right ?...
Why was he nervous?? Capablanca barat him in New York 1927 and twice more before that with no losses... afterwards Alekhine never gave him a rematch. But gave 2 matches to bogoljubov. Alekhine wa the one that was scared to give a rematch. And furthermore lifetime Capablanca beat Alekhine 9 to 7 with 33 draws. I hope that cleared up the confusion for you
Great Game...with great Mato..:) Thanks Mato...:) #TrueFan But in this game u didn't say that please pause video and find best move for black. I m waiting for that sentence. .
,I guess Alekhine dragged the game out with the killa move..24.Be4 instead of the throat cutting with ..Rxh2+ and then if the Kn captures on h2 then ..25 Be4+ can't be met. If then 25. Rxh2 then Bxe3+ can't be defended. BTW, all tournament chess games are free to look at on the web just highlight "Hovind vs Alekhine - Hamburg" and hit google search.
I get the impression Alekhine was toying with his opponent. By 1930, Alekhine had acquired a reputation as one of the strongest players in the world. However, he ducked certain players ( Capablanca for one...).
I agree. This is a very nice attack Was Alekhine french and married 4 times. Well, the 2 will be as one. He proberly tried to figure out wich woman was the best player in him............just kidding
Thanks Mato for making Alekhine,Nejmedinnov,Keres ALIVE with your unique chess presentations.
you're the funniest I swear Mato, been a fan from day 1, love from Egypt
been a fan since day 0 :P
Me too alaa
Ooh nice he had some Egyptian fans
Thanks Mato! I really liked this - a good exercise on Friday after a hard working day with sparkling wine (and some whisky) -you really manage to make this as an entertaining but at the same time an educating event!
j'ai beaucoup aimé les vidéos de Mato .
c'est simple et instructif, je lui envoie toute ma gratitude.
Mauritanian player
So much hilarity in this video, my favourite was "he married four times. OK, enough of geography..."
Thanks for a great game and analysis, Sir. 💯👍🏻
One day will come and Alekhine video streaks will end. I will be sad that day.
You are right
Mato your videos are getting better everyday. Thank you
Aye, that day may come. But it is not this day! This day we fight!
??
+Coos Oorlog :c
This is alekhine signature move... h4 or h5.... just like tal's knight sacrifice..... nice game mato... thanks for posint such videos for us....
That fast ending line was .... unexpected
THANK YOU!!
I let the commercials continue
and do not interrupt them.that way I can thank you
Dear Mato. I would like to request the whole match between Mikhail Tal vs Botvinik. Hopefully in the future you can make it. Thank you. Best Regards!
love his games. he is the best@!@!
Very instructive attack!
Alekhine was a genius. A really king of chess. Thank you, Mato.
Alekhine was not only a genius player,he had a lot of humor..Playing a French Defense while playing for France is literally the joke
Very beautiful attack by alekhine.....🏁🏁
Was this too fast? lol
I agree very nice attack ! keep up the jocularity ;-)
yes i m lucky to watch ur videos my rating is 1600+ from 1200 , i kicked lot of butts on live chess after watch ur videos..
at 5:46 instead of putting rook to G8 he coudve put rook to G1 the White knight has to eat it and after that he just put bishop to G4 check mate right ?...
oh wait he can put the knight back never mind :)
No, then he loses both rook and bishop. It's not checkmate, not even check.
Mato, informacije za koga je igrao i koliko se puta ženio Aljehin, nije geografija već istorija.
Svaka čast na video prezentaciji.
Please Mato 🙏🏼 make more videos of Mikhail Botvinik
Can you find more games with mikail talisimo belisimo ? And some of your games ?
I found the move, but not the full calculation afterwards.
Mr. Mato, is any of your books translated to bulgarian?
Where is Rarafrance I can't find it on the map
You are right Mato. I DO learn lots of things watching your videos. Not only good chess but geography too :-) Just kidding :-)
It was Capablanca who was nervous to play against Alekhine! He tried to avoid playing Alekhine by making exorbitant demands!
I hope that cleared up the confusion for you
@@user-ts2co4ov5hAlekhine beat capablanca for the world title is a well documented fact which should clear your confusion!!!
in a lot of games i play this type od french exchange variation
Alekhine fascinates!
Great Game...with great Mato..:)
Thanks Mato...:)

But in this game u didn't say that please pause video and find best move for black. I m waiting for that sentence. .
Mato was in a hurry to the train station. So he had no time for the extras.
He writes on the right side , " guess the next move." if you saw that you can pause the video and guess the next move , i do this sometimes ^_^
you are hilarious mato..and sorry croatia couldn't make it last night
Capablanca is mato jelic 's favourite chess player...am I right mato ?
did alekhine ever play alekhine's defense?
yes of course lol
Muy combinativo alekhinne, a ratos su juego se parece a Morphy
And where is Hovind? Hovind is a small town in Norway not to be confused with Oskarshamn...
one line goes like this :))))
,I guess Alekhine dragged the game out with the killa move..24.Be4 instead of the throat cutting with ..Rxh2+ and then if the Kn captures on h2 then ..25 Be4+ can't be met. If then 25. Rxh2 then Bxe3+ can't be defended.

My Croatian Chess Instructor Mato Jelic
Was this too fast? Funny! ☺
Nice move
I think Alekhine was looking for a way to mate by sacrificing the queen to that pawn...but didn't find it.
So, moral of the story is that Alekhine is pretty good
uhm first time u use speed mode :3 mato
6.39 so funny😂😂😂😂😂
mato you went too fast lol. I wish you good luck with your chess too.
Another brilliant attack from Alekhine!
I get the impression Alekhine was toying with his opponent. By 1930, Alekhine had acquired a reputation as one of the strongest players in the world. However, he ducked certain players ( Capablanca for one...).
Mato - Du bist ein witziger Vogel!

I agree. This is a very nice attack
Was Alekhine french and married 4 times.
Well, the 2 will be as one. He proberly tried to figure out wich woman was the best player in him............just kidding
That was such a lame knight move by Hovind.
Edward Hyman: Yep, sweeping the squares clear for Alekhine to attack ;your king is kamikaze.
Lolol 😂 ok ... One line goes like this click click click click click lolol click click click ... To fast ??
Dengerous
Zwei Frauen oder vier Frauen?!?!?! ...Geographie? !?!?!..... ohhhh Mato... 😂😂😂👍
1st to watch
Does anyone like mato's sense of humor? İ cannot stand it
alekhine, im bored !
How you can watch a Mato video and be bored is simply beyond me
u need to be lucky to watch the best player on the planet...by far
Alekhine is not the best player ever. He is probably second best
the best is kasparov, tal, and fischer
