This watch is stunning in person. I never really paid attention to to Piaget before. I was walking through the Hong Kong airport and this watch caught my eye. The dial plays with the light. The fit and finish is top notch. Really surprised the Polo doesn’t get more love from collectors.
Very good move. Not everywhere has the same climate as Piaget's head office. Places like Viet Nam and Thailand make quick work of leather straps. I've been keen on the Piaget Polo for a long time, perhaps I'll try this one.
Yeah, gotta agree with you there. This style of Piaget looks best, IMO, when coupled with the rubber strap. The rubber strap, I think, lends itself to the sporty nature of the watch, and it would likely be practical because it's lighter if you're wearing it and playing sports.
Love the slight variation to the dial... kudos to Piaget for finding a way to get symbiosis with the slightly thicker gauge stripes of the rubber strap. (Should be available for all Piaget colors)
This must be the first Piaget I want to buy! And what a great value proposition!
I have been wishing for a 39mm polo. I think it looks killer on bracelet. Love the slenderness too

Absolutely looks better on the rubber.

Its crazy that Piaget is a luxury watch brand and I’ve never met anyone with it
How hard can it be to change the colour of the date wheel for a company like Piaget? Beautiful timepiece but i can't get over their date wheels...
same with Patek, like come on wtf
It’s just your taste. I quite like the date as it is.
@@JamesAlexander14 Yeah :) exactly mate.
Excatly, Christopher ward does it, similarly if my Tissot prx had a blue date wheel, It would look even more fantastic.
@@Harisampath even sometimes when white is appropriate you gotta get the right shade of white

Nice review! Why would a watch at this price point not feature a free-sprung balance?
I like the Polo. Make the thicker pattern a contrasting colour and you might get a home run
I’d buy exactly this in blue!
All kidding aside, great review, Zach.
We all know what people are going to say about this watch ! That being said, it's beautiful.
Why not put a green rubber on the polo S, which sells at discount on the gray market
The Aquaget!
which is a royal oak😂
Aquanaut has an octagonal dial within an octagonal case , whereas the Polo’s dial is cushion-shaped within a round case!!!
This watch remind me a lot like Patek Aquanot....really nice....but not sure when I can afford it 😅
But they never released a blue rubber strap to match the old models. Yes there's one for the chronograph, but it won't fit the 3 hander.
Did you just change the time….. while wearing the watch??
Nice looks like a Patek Aqua.
I just don’t understand why they made this circle in the middle of
the dial green is different, blue + green
Nickname poll: Nautilo or Poutilus?
Polonaut?
👍
It looks way too similar to the Aquanaut as does the rest of their line. Very innovative
This one was done before the Aquanaut. Smartass.

As a side note, this watch doesn't deserve the polo name
The sad news it's a Cartier base movement. I really really wish they would do their own movements. too bad.
👍🏻
Piaget is known g for their dress watches.. Formal... White we buy this brand and others like it
..
. Who something would want a Catheter Tank
Bracelet, for a Polo, its the way to go. Rubber always poor option.
You think the Aquanaut on a rubber looks also poor?
@@Schnitzeljunge somehow
Just hurry up and reissue your old bangle polos before the moment is lost Piaget smh
Rubber does absolutely nothing but cheapen the look of the watch.
I do not wear a watch under the shadow of AP...It has lost its identity....worst, Identity t😮heft
Hard pass.
