I couldn’t agree more on these 2 watches. I fell in love with the panthera when I saw a photo of Kieth richards wearing one in the early 80’s and the polo is just next level.
I bought a Piaget Polo in 1988 just after my father passed away. A Piaget enthusiast since college, the Polo has always been my ultimate "power watch". As an airline VP who bought new aircraft for our airline, as well as leased as sold aircraft, I would always wear this when contracts were signed. Using a specific Mont Blanc pen with the Polo on my wrist spoke volumes. I could never have done this with a Timex or a Bic Pen!

I am of the age that Piaget was in all the magazines of things I desperately wanted to buy. I remember the Polo in the 80s fashion pages on wrists of beautiful women. I want a Piaget, but the Altiplano. Mmmm, pure perfection
I own 3 Piaget watches I collect them I guess, but the Polo is out of reach for the moment, but it’s on my wish list

Love all of these, which isn't surprising as you have greatly influenced my taste in design and style. I really can't see that Piaget being worn formally however, I just don't. Great piece, but casual, imo.
