I have a Piaget '90s reissue of a '70s model with vertical grooves on the dial continued on the case, in yellow gold with an alligator strap. I bought it used for about $6,000 with a few light scratches and swirls. My God, what a beautiful piece. It could be in a museum. It is utterly Piaget.
This was a very interesting interview. That all-gold watch is a crazy stunner. So many "luxury watches" have little intrinsic merit, and are in stainless to boot.

L'interview est très intéressante. Toutefois, il n'y a pas assez d'illustrations à mon goût. Pour vos prochaines diffusions, mettez plus de photos svp.

I’ve enjoyed this conversation quite a lot. Great storytelling from Mr. Forot.
When it comes to the watch, it’s a polarizing product. You either like it or not. And that’s a great thing because it’s a unique design that evokes emotions.
Piaget has a great synergy between watchmaking and jewelry. It has a great story.
So all it needs is a hero product.
I wish to see the brand still going strong for its 200th anniversary.

Not going to lie, once he put it on his wrist - my whole opinion changed for the better.

Hi Justin. The title has 79" (79 inches)for the year. I think it should be '79.

In the States we have a lot of obese people. 79 inches works for a lot of these people.

The watch debuted in 79 and shot to popularity all thru the 80s.

Piaget needs to get rid of the Polo completely - it's a carbon copy of the Nautilus / AquaNOT - put more focus on this watch and your Black Tie! Which is way more cooler than the Polo line. Would be cool to see even a brand like Piaget just come out and replace with a new sports watch all together - REBRAND!
