40-year-old Arthur Duperrault was a successful contact lens optometrist. He and his family resided in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and he had long dreamed of taking his wife and children on a week-long family cruise from the Florida Keys to The Bahamas, which he had sailed during his World War II service, as opposed to the family facing another cold Wisconsin winter. For several years, the Duperraults had saved money for this opulent experience.
By the summer of 1961, the Duperrault family had saved enough money to finance this cruise. The family arrived in Fort Lauderdale in early November, where they chartered the 60-foot (18 m) ketch the Bluebelle, stationed at the Bahia Mar Marina, for $515. Duperrault hired a well-known local yachtsman, 44-year-old Julian Harvey (with whom he was acquainted), to skipper the vessel for $100 per day. Harvey's sixth wife, 34-year-old former stewardess and aspiring writer Mary Dene Harvey (née Jordan), was also appointed to serve as a cook on the ketch. The Duperrault family boarded the Bluebelle at around midday on Wednesday, November 8, 1961. The vessel was last seen leaving port early that afternoon.
At approximately 12:35 p.m. on Monday, November 13, a crew member aboard the oil tanker Gulf Lion observed a man identified as Julian Harvey, waving frantically from a dinghy drifting in their direction and shouting, "Help! This one seemed to end on a brighter note compared to some of the other mysteries talked about. It seems this time, too many things happened against Julian’s favor for him to presumably commit the perfect crime and just when he thought he could turn it around, someone managed to miraculously survive the ordeal and would’ve probably been the start of his downfall if he had not off himself. Still a horrific event to have happened for the girl who essentially got anxiety up to her 30s, unaware whether Julian was still alive or not sounds rough, but Im glad she managed to make it out of that and rebound to a happier life.

Brickey let's do a little math here she's 11 in the 70s that's 50 years ago. So somehow her kids are all in their 40s. Either she started pumping them out real quick when she came of age or they're more likely in their thirties currently.

Given he served in Korea, I'd imagine Julian would have flown the B-47 Stratojet, basically a fighter jet in heavy bomber form, although it is possible his plane was a Superfortress. Not the most important detail to be stuck on but for some reason a guy like him flying a plane as dope as the Stratojet simply makes sense in my head.

I like that bricky mention his ego in his suicide. People that are this egotistical believe the world wouldn’t survive without them. I guess for him, the world didn’t matter as much as consequences. It always makes me angry that these people don’t get proper punishment though.

Can you please consider covering the weird incidents in Noel Alaska that the movie the fourth kind is based on,there's a whole lot of mysterious shit that happened at the time.There's alot of people that point to this story as proof of aliens but personally I think it was a story of when hypnosis is used in a malicious way.

I feel a contributing factor to this guy committing suicide is the fact he had anxiety, and if his crimes were revealed, he will forever have to deal with the fact that people know he's a murderer and will automatically dislike or fear him, and I don't know if someone who has anxiety could live with that.
Idk man as someone with anxiety that seems very far-fetched
Or maybe he just didn't want to spend the rest of his life inn jail, it could be that simple.

2:26 Speaking of the funeral industry being crooked, My Grandmother passed away in summer 2020 (non-covid), and she still doesn't have a tombstone over her grave. They gave us a BS excuse at the funeral itself, and they've been telling us it's a supply chain issue ever since.
