Bart and Krista Halderson last been seen by their son Chandler as the couple was preparing to head to their remote cabin in Sawyer Lake, Wisconsin, for the Fourth of July weekend. They would never return home. Chandler, 23, was attending Madison College studying for an IT degree, he volunteered as a scuba diver with the local Madison Police diving squad and said he was looking forward to a job at SpaceX.
Detectives interviewed friends and neighbors of Bart and Krista. They wanted to learn more about Chandler's whereabouts over the holiday weekend. Authorities started to suspect Chandler's story was not adding up. In fact, nothing about him was adding up.

DK becomes a Scuba Diver to fulfill his quest of finding a creature that will willingly listen to his top 10 ten anime body pillow list and Shy becomes a Murderer after listening and editing so many adeptus ridiculous videos and honestly who could blame her?
As a person addicted to Escape from Tarkov around the same time 2020-2021 I am both offended by and in complete agreement to bricky’s statements.
Funnily enough, if he just got a job and had a life, he would have been able to play more escape from tarkov than his current predicament.
Shy's "Malignantly Lazy" line makes me think that this is the kind of tragedy a demon of Sloth would cause.
I feel really sorry for the brother in this. He lost his parents and found out his older brother is a monster and now he is just left with nothing and no family and has to pick up the pieces and try to keep going.
This hurts too much that this monster is surrounded by so many nice people. Loving parents, a loving girlfriend, the girlfriend very nice parents, his brother, and his grandmother. Yet he holds no... no... HE JUST DOESN'T CARE!
So as somebody who lives in wisconsin and who already knows the story, the cabin they owned is up in the boon docks of wisconsin. Not a lot of infrastructure. Meaning there are several stores that still don't accept credit card up there. So carrying around a ton of cash is normal.
This guy is like the main character of a saturday morning cartoon about how if you keep lying you keep digging yourself deeper and deeper, except it becomes an Adult Swim cartoon at the end.
The expression "waste of oxygen" was invented for people like this Chandler guy

I agree with Bricky's assessment that Chandler was a sociopath.
BRICKY: This guy rivals Isaac Clarke for getting the shit end of the deal.
guy put more effort into LITERALLY BEING A PSYCHO than anything else, crazy form of lazy.
This was kind of a tonal whiplash for me as I kept going from the horror of the things he did to laughing at his stupidity and incompetence.

Remind me never to name my kid "Chandler," it seems to curse every person who bears it
I don't know what pisses me off more: the fact if Chandler put as much effort into his schoolwork as he did lying about being in school he probably would've graduated, or the fact that his family and friends were nothing but kind to him, and THIS was how he repaid that kindness.
