I'm quite pleased that Corax is getting the respect he deserves. Unlike the other Primarchs, with certain exceptions, the Raven Lord has always fought to free mankind from tyranny.
Corax combined his supernatural physical and mental prowess with a mastery of infiltration, sabotage and asymmetrical warfare. Since his exposure to the strange power of the Warp, Corax has grown stronger whilst retaining his humanity.

There's a quote by a character played by Denzel Washington, who plays a corrupt cop in the film Training Day, where he justifies his choice of going to the dark side which is perfect to explain Corax -- "To protect the sheep you have to catch the wolf, and it takes a wolf to catch a wolf".

    • @knowplay3258
      @knowplay3258 9 дней назад +1

To find a wolf, you use a wolf. The problem with this is there is a good chance both wolves will band together and turn on you. So....
If you want to subdue and destroy a wolf, you send a sheep dog. The sheep dog will hunt and destroy the wolf..not for you...but rather...to protect the sheep. Don't be a wolf amongst sheep...instead...be a sheep dog among the sheep, leading and protecting the flock.

    He is not a Daemon.
You don't understand what his power is.
I've read all the books, (Corax books)
Corax shares the "Glamor" ability with the Emperor (he is altering what you see when You look upon him)
In the great crusade he used this to conceal himself, Even in the height of combat.
But after a certain fight with a certain word bearer (not lorgar) he began to use his abilities for other purposes (manipulation here, intimidation there)
TLDR: The Emperor makes you see "the Lord of humanity" when looking upon him... Corax chose to conceal himself instead with the power... Later he uses this power to manifest the fear of his enemies... The word bearers Saw a demon, when the slaves saw a savior.

Uts kinda shapeshift form, but its LIKE the emperor shapeshift. After all Corvus and A sister of silence are the ones who can see the emperor true form, just a regular size men.
The whole giant gold crap its the same kind of power corvus use to enter his corvus demon combat form.

@@martintodd9944 Brother did you not read "Shadows of the Past"
The word bearers themselves put up wards against demons, for even in the warp they have to protect themselves...
"Ravens flight" Corax uses the Avenger to plunge wordbearers into the Warp ... Where they are torn apart.
Even in "The First Heretic" All the word bearers that went into the warp were killed, only to be reanimated into daemon-hosts.
I can keep cooking but I'll stop there.

@@secondarytrollaccount666I get what you’re saying I just think it works both ways with his strength increasing coupled with the influence of the minor warp god. It’s irony that Lorgar and his legion did everything they could to unite with spirts of the warp, becoming one. Corax in the eye allows the spirit used in his creation. I believe the spirit is one of vengeance or justice and now Corax is pushed to hunt and kill, fixated on delivering it in the warp due to the influence of his powers. He’s like Argel Tal, another irony, someone who is definitely human but influenced by his relationship with the demon
