He plugged in his electric guitar and turned it up as he normally would but discovered that to get their vocal harmonies the Bee Gees actually had to sing quite softly for a live performance; his guitar would have drowned them out, so he switched to acoustic.
Actually that's a huge praise considering Freddie Mercury were still around and with Roger still being his backup singer, Brian May has always been a down to Earth, genuine person, and that's the same with the Gibbs, it really was an unbelievably awesome era when artists fairly compete and talks about real good music if they hear one, even though it's by their competitors, not like some rappers nowadays only know how to diss each others while producing some noise, that's why I always prefer old artists/bands despite my age(I'm only 21), they're all incredible to listen, at last I hope Sir Barry Gibb and Brian May stays healthy and live long!

This DVD was incredible. So much talent on one stage it was crazy. Some of the performers not shown in this video but who came out on stage during other songs were Elton John, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, and Mark Knopfler. They all played during each other's songs and shared the stage together. God, this vid takes me back to when music was amazing and musicians had a talent that was truly remarkable. PLUS, the great ones did benefit concerts like this one to help change the world. Thanks!!

You're right. Didn't notice that. Genesis shows would have the major drum solo played by the regular drummer and Phil. Since he's a left handed drummer, it's an amazing mirror image.
