Maurice, Robin and Barry have beautiful voices individually, but it's when they put the three voices together that the magic happens, and then even the sky stops to listen.
Barry voice is very close to Kenny Rogers voice. But Robin voice no one can imitate. It's such uniqueness, very special, no words can I find to satisfy my description. There won't be another Robin. What a lost to all who love him. Wish he is still alive.

Still here in 2021. Robin is really feeling this song. You can hear the obvious Motown influence in his vocals. This type of harmony as well as their syncopated phrasing cannot be taught. For all intents and purposes they became one. Such talent!

Love this cover much more than the original! That says a lot from a Carol King fan. These guys are the best of the best, showing so much emotion in every song they sing. I have always felt like they were singing to me, and me only. That is a connection between an artist and their fans that can’t ever be broken. Although we have lost 3 Gibb brothers, far too soon, we will always have their music.
Some years back I recall seeing a music documentary series on TV. From memory it was 10 one hour long parts. I think it was the 1995 PBS/BBC co-production "Rock and Roll/Dancing In The Street" but don't quote me. In one episode, the goddess known as Carol King was interviewed, and I think it was about this particular song, where she said she kicked the studio musician off the piano/keys and insisted she herself play (in order it be played exactly as she intended it), for the recording, which became a spectacular hit. It was after that song went big, that her boyfriend/husband Jerry Goffin (sp?) gave up his day job as a chemist, as they had enough money coming in from royalties.

Until seeing this vid, I would have said that no one could beat Carole King's own version of this song (tho the duet she did with James Taylor, Amy Winehouse's cover, and one or two others, all have their good bits) was the best. But this one is simply breath-taking--a new way of singing a real classic. I love these guys, and am so happy they did such a beautiful, characteristic job on one of my favorite pop songs ever. Love this cover much more than the original! That says a lot from a Carol King fan. These guys are the best of the best, showing so much emotion in every song they sing. I have always felt like they were singing to me, and me only. That is a connection between an artist and their fans that can’t ever be broken. Although we have lost 3 Gibb brothers, far too soon, we will always have their music.

Some years back I recall seeing a music documentary series on TV. From memory it was 10 one hour long parts. I think it was the 1995 PBS/BBC co-production "Rock and Roll/Dancing In The Street" but don't quote me. In one episode, the goddess known as Carol King was interviewed, and I think it was about this particular song, where she said she kicked the studio musician off the piano/keys and insisted she herself play (in order it be played exactly as she intended it), for the recording, which became a spectacular hit. It was after that song went big, that her boyfriend/husband Jerry Goffin (sp?) gave up his day job as a chemist, as they had enough money coming in from royalties.

Until seeing this vid, I would have said that no one could beat Carole King's own version of this song (tho the duet she did with James Taylor, Amy Winehouse's cover, and one or two others, all have their good bits) was the best. But this one is simply breath-taking--a new way of singing a real classic. I love these guys, and am so happy they did such a beautiful, characteristic job on one of my favorite pop songs ever. Magical.

It is difficult to find words that describe this song... not easy, in fact, to even describe the beautiful sound of the Bee Gees voices singing in harmony! There is something so magical between them that no others could replicate! There will never be a group that could compete with them, in my opinion. They are fabulous. This song has become a much more beloved song when their voices took hold of it! I will forever love these talented brothers. I heard it said that only those who are related can harmonize this well.
