You don't need to mess with separating the bearing from the hub and using a press. You can just buy a pre-assembled hub/bearing module and bolt it right in with 4 bolts.
Really appreciate all the effort, details, and tips you provide. I recently bought an 08 A4 and am trying to remediate a weird noise coming from the rear. I considered selling it 'As-Is', but your video gave me the confidence to tackle this myself! Thanks and keep'em coming.
Yo I'm so glad this video helped you. This stuff isn't hard any job on these cars can be broken down into simple steps. As you got full set of torx, Allen's, triple squares 🤦♂️😂
Thank you for the video it really helped but I just purchased a Audi 2007 A8 and after Changing the wheel bearing my caliper bracket is rubbing horrible against rotor. Do you have any suggestions of what I might have done wrong.
That my friend is a really odd set of circumstances you have there...it should be almost mechanically not possible for those two parts to contact each other... my theory would be that bearing or the spindle is closer that originally and allowing the caliper to bracket to touch. But that you would think cause other issues first .... i don't friend if you wanna dm me some pics or video on ig I'll take a look at it and see what I can see.
Any update on how the trq wheel bearing is doing? I’m gonna replace all 4 on my b7 and just wondering if yours has held up so far. Thanks for the video

👊😎
I thought that axle bolt was a torque to yield bolt and therefore had to be replaced everytime it is removed?
