  • Eve: One of female rap’s rare multi-faceted media personalities. From uber cool hits like “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” to the small screen to the big screen to daytime tv. She’s done it all, despite keeping a silent front on music.

Fun fact: Eve is the only female rapper to have a song with both Prince and Michael Jackson.

I really love her verse on Doja Cat’s “Tonight.” She delivered her rap so well and slid on the beat.

eve is amazing.. and i hate to bring this up but i never see her “cry”/whine about not getting the credit or recognition she deserves , like most female rappers seem to make a habit of these days.. she seems secure in her legacy and it speaks for itself .. she doesn’t need constant praise from evryone bc she already she got it

Eve is one of the best rappers, ever. People need to know that, she's cool, sexy, and tough all at the same time and always being herself.

“Who’s that girl” and “love is blind’ are some of my top 20 female rap songs. Eve dose not get the recognition she deserves, First Lady of ruff riders and one of the top 10 female emcees. She deserved more and deserved to be bigger, her take on a rap being more on empowerment and tackling darker realistic issues makes her an artist that can’t be replicated else where. EVE

I remember hearing “Love as Blind” as a child. It helped me understand why women and men who are being domestically abused by their partner stay in their relationships instead of just leaving.

She’s definitely underrated nowadays. There seems to be a pattern with female rappers, they hardly ever make studio albums anymore, seems like they only make less than 5 and call it quits. I hope she returns with another album!

Eve is such a major icon for me. We’re both from Philly and both Scorpios. She has a great career. I look up to her so much.

I love how eve was always herself, and not sexual ,and a good artist with good messages in her music love is blind is a good song ,but also a sad one.

I miss Eve in the music realm. She had real deep things to say and honestly, we don't have a lot of that right now.

Actually: here in Europe, Eve had a pretty successful 2010s single with a dance song based on Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, that she recorded alongside Shaggy.

Yes kids. Believe it or not, in a not so distant past there was a time when there was a wide variety of mainstream female rappers who actually were talented lyricists, didn't solely rely on their altered bodies & hypers3xuality. Eve represented an impressive combo of femininity, strength, & talent that sadly is defunct in the current (mainstream) rap scene. Great topic selection ‼

I'm so glad to see a video on Eve! I got to meet her in 2016 when she ate at the restaurant I was working in, in Notting Hill, London. She was there with a friend, and couldn't help but let her know that I knew who she was, and how much I loved what she did. She was so sweet and kind.
