I’m tired of seeing diddy on all RnB groups singers in the 90s careers. Fast forward he is still wealthy and they are not.
He was the boss, of course he's still wealthy. It was his come, his money he invested in these artists. That is how this works. All the white men that head up the big labels are far wealthier than Diddy, and no one complains about those demons. It's like Black people feel like all black people should be broke. Why are people this damn ignorant still? The fact that you are tired of hearing his name so much in R&B groups is a testament to why he’s wealthy. You only eat what you kill. That man was working, and a lot of these artists we're lazy and squadered their money on drugs alcohol, cars, and women. They. look for someone to blame.

Their divide began after they left Bad Boy and signed with Def Jam.
So the question is....How did Slim end up owning the name "112" if there were 4 group members? Did he not discuss trademarking the name with the others before doing so?
I used to follow them all of Instagram. When they finally came back together to do another album, Daron cared more about pushing his solo career. He was giving away tickets to his shows if you did a video singing one of his songs. He was showing favoritism to certain fans too. Q started to get into acting and a lil bit of "ministry". Michael and Slim were the main two who kept trying to give 112. They were spilling all of the tea back in 2019 on IG. I know at one point, even Jagged Edge was asking them to not do all of that in public.
Love you like I did, is one of my favorites.
@@TheeAntisocialXxtrovert I think Slim and Mike was trying to sabotage Daron and Q’s career and ruin their reputation with fans. I also think if group members go out their way to do something that shady to other members that you have known for years since childhood, then why would anyone trust people like that again? From what I heard it wasn’t just the trademark thing that caused their beef. It was also the fact that Slim’s management was doing something funny with their money. Daron and Q caught what was going on. Not only Slim was going behind their backs to steal the trademark but he was taking their money too.. I think he got greedy and that’s a shame. 112 is my favorite group. I would love to see them back together, but after I heard what went down behind the scenes, I don’t blame Daron and Q for wanting to stay solo. They are humble and sweet unlike the other two. I don’t know what happened to Slim and Mike. They have become cocky and arrogant and they didn’t use to be like that.
@@ShawnyK8 I heard that Daron was stealing publishing royalties from the other members of 112. I remember reading about this a few years ago. It's so hard to keep up with who did what. I just wish they would get it together because I do not like to new, remixed 112.
@@MsKim510 I think Slim and Mike have been lying a lot about things and trying to place blame on the other two to cover up what they are doing.. Granted, I’m pretty sure all of the guys have done some things to each other over the years but I think there has been some jealousy among members. I can’t understand why because all of the guys are so talented in their own way. Everybody love them equally. But I have been noticing how shady the two have became. By being a fan for years, we may know certain things about the group. We may read things but we don’t actually know the details of things. All I know is this for years, I have heard all about how all of the guys are so nice and down to earth with their fans. It’s one of the reasons why I love 112 besides their talent. Their humble attitude and grounded personality. What I saw in them, I didn’t see in other groups or in any other artists for that matter.
. I don’t think they know how special they are and this is what disappointed me as a supporter. It’s understandable for a group to part ways because of differences. But I mean sometimes members grow apart anyway. It’s not the fact that they broke up, it’s how they broke up. It’s some members acting brand new with their fans acting nasty and cocky for no reason being rude to folks. I’m not talking about Daron and Q..
All of these years, the guys have been cool but in recent years, the other two have been very shady. They don’t even communicate with their fans like they need to build a rapport with them.. I really do think it’s some jealousy involved with Slim and Mike towards Daron and Q because they seem to be branching out more than the other two. Daron is a producer. He produces for different artists. He has his own production company. He is always working on new music. It’s on Spotify and other platforms. Q has his thing going on with acting and other things. Daron has been very transparent with his fans, he follows them and interact with them. A poster said he shows certain fans favoritism over others. That’s not true. If you follow him, he will follow back and interact with you and include you in things like performances. He is very appreciative to his fans unlike other artists that I seen. Most of them barely talk to the people who support them.
Sometimes members want to branch out and go solo and there’s nothing wrong with that.. That can give fans a opportunity to see each member do their thing. With 112, I think it’s hard for us to see them separate because to us, they are better together than apart but we have to respect their right to be individuals. This is what I think happened with the group. They never went anywhere. Some members just started working on individual entertainment projects. Everybody is still on social media. They are still doing shows and all of that.
I caught Slim in a lie when I was commenting on his Instagram about the break up. I told him I remember that they broke up a couple times and got back together because I remember reading about them breaking up on and off years ago. But he just lied and told me that they didn’t and then he got smart with me when I mentioned something about their titles and their copyright situation. He was like that with others and it kinda caught me off guard because I never known none of the guys act that way towards people especially fans. So that right there just let me know that he was being defensive about something..
I was thinking from that point on I made a decision to not support Slim and Mike in their 112 new setup. Not when they are talking sideways to their fans and disrespecting them and lying to them about what went down. They were trying to put everything on Daron and Q like they were innocent but that’s not what I heard. I love 112 but Slim was being out of pocket. I don’t know what happened to him. It’s just unfortunate and sad. I doubt they will get back together. It seems like it’s too much between the guys. Lines were crossed with the stealing and going behind backs etc.

Peaches and Cream was my jam, every time I hear that song it just reminds me of the amazing summer of 2001 in Brooklyn with my bestie.
Spoiler alert: Most groups are good for 2-3 albums, maybe 4 if they’re lucky. It’s the nature of the beast. It’s hard enough to get along with family sometimes, let alone with people you’re not related to, yet financially and contractually reliant on. We just need to accept it for what it is, enjoy it while it lasts, and realize that the party has to end eventually. 🤷🏾♂️

I always thought Daron was the best singer but slim had the most unique voice, and the 90s was all about unique distinct voices tboz, Toni Braxton, brandy, Macy gray, Keith sweat, coko, and those are off the top of head. Singers had a signature sound back then and slim was instrumental for that.

Slim came and performed at one of our events last year and he still can sing! He sounded great and was very humble and professional.

Love them. They’ve been performing at a concert a couple years ago here in Germany (kings of rnb i think) and before that, they’ve been at the spa I was working at. I got to massage Q and he came back the next day after the concert. He was super nice. He was a great client - not only because I had a fan moment ✨
His wife and her twin sister own and operate a nail salon named TuLa2 in Atlanta. I took my mother there a couple years ago as a late birthday present, and man…I want to go back the next time I’m in town. If you’re ever in Atlanta, check it out!

Mannn I wish I had gotten a chance to see them perform. They were my absolute favorite group growing up.
