All depends on how you spray yourself. 1.4 is on the bigger side for clear application. If you move fast maybe you could make it work. 1.3 and 1.2 are gonna give you nicer results since it can atomize finer
Can you explain to me why my Walcom Slim Kombat HTE pistol is jamming? When I pull the trigger and then release it, it has a hard time returning to its initial position. I have lubricated it several times, but the problem persists.
So, when I talked to walcom they said the base and clear gun have different internal air passages. Do you think they are just telling me this to cover up that the guns are the same?
I don’t believe they would make the mistake of covering that up. This was based on my experience and experiment that I observed minimal difference between base and clear guns.
Mario you think outside the box I appreciate this kind of video for sure. How things hold up. Very surprised to hear you prefer the 1.2 for base since I'm pretty sure you reside in a very very hot place. I often heard 1.3 users switching to 1.4 when it gets hot so that was my understanding. I admit I am also afraid of using a 1.2 for base because I would be worried maybe the coarser metallics wouldn't come out correctly.
Hi Mario great review on the Walcom, I've heard a lot of good things about these guns but the finish on the body has always put me off buying one, I have the Slim Kombat 1.4 HVLP and it's a good gun it does what it should but I don't like the way it feels in the hand it's almost toy like it feels cheap and plasticky. I did consider getting the 360 but I don't think I could live with the body getting marked so I went for my Iwata WS400 series2 1.3HD Digital and love it👌👌👍John UK.
Thanks John, i agree the body finish is a turn off it looks cool, but it will look horrible in the long run. You already know I would choose the WS400 too.
Yeah it's a shame Walcom used Carbon fibre (I think that's what it is) on their guns but I don't think I could live with it as I like to keep my guns spotless, had my Series2 WS400 a week now and used it everyday each time I like it more and more👌👍
Mario paint I really thank you for your channel -- I live in south Carolina you have really helped me in so many ways with your knowledge in the paint game -- keep up the great work Mario 👍
Mr. Bushmaster if it helps there's also the option of the alluminio version. I asked Walcom if it has the same internals, air cap, nozzle, and needle as their 360 carbonio and they said it's all the same. Im calling soon to find out if the alluminio has a nonstick coating similar to our black tekna guns we had in the states.
You say in the video that it can be difficult to get parts for Walcom gun if you need it?? I can say that Walcom is one of very few or maybe the ONLY manufacturer who send a bag with a complete rebuild set with parts with every new purchased Carbonio gun. So i can say it must be very easy to get spareparts...just open the box wich the gun came in....
You are totally right. When it comes to spray guns, it's all about marketing. Most spray guns are designed to perform almost the same. During my career I owned more than 15 high end spray guns( waste of money) but nowadays I put them all aside and get back to the basic LPH400 clear which performs very well. What's the purpose of buying a new spray gun every year when the paint your spraying is the same for the last decade.
Hey man nice review, have you invested into these guns or they’re owned by the dude from paint society? It’s a bit different when you’ve spent your own hard earned money into a product and the review can be skewed. If its not a sponsorship or property of someone else it can have indirect opinions so hope these guns are yours & you’ve purchased because they’re a hard pill to swallow since they’re expensive and if you took the plunge to purchase one i think your viewers would have that trust to do the same since youre producing good quality videos
Hi mario … what do you think about walcom 1.4 for clear . And what’s best ? 1.3 or 1.4
All depends on how you spray yourself. 1.4 is on the bigger side for clear application. If you move fast maybe you could make it work. 1.3 and 1.2 are gonna give you nicer results since it can atomize finer

Definitely need to try shooting base with my carbonio clear gun
thanks Mario,that’s really a awesome paint job👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thanks Bill.

Thanks! I do my best. As for the tip size to be honest I have never used a 1.4 for base it’s always 1.2 to 1.3.
Big up, you do JA proud
Bless up Peter
Did you try the mp air cap yet?
I haven’t. How is it?
@mariopaintclass6091 it's fast and has a nice finish. Kind of like a Sata for speed
Hey Mario, will you be thinking to get a SATA and review it? 😁
Ntony I got you.
