Thank you for the content. I have my cradle bushings and rear control arm bushings now and was planning on installing soon. But seeing how much you have torn down makes me realize I should do sway bars at the same time.
I need to replace the axle seals behind the stubs on this new diff. Gm 291-326 is the part number I’ve found but I’m skeptical of online fitment claims. Have you done this repair yet? I can’t find any videos on it. I’m assuming it’s probably similar to a timing cover seal?
    Thank you.

Yeah should be pretty easy, remove axles, pop out the stubs then normal seal replacement. I've never done it but it seems straightforward

@@evsnova74 yeah I was thinking the same. Be good content when you upgrade your stubs. I found nothing on it.

@@goat_life254 that'll definitely be down the line a ways when I actually need em. Not even sure what's next, maybe heads and cam, then I'll be looking to upgrade stubs, axles, hell I still have the factory driveshaft

@@evsnova74 I have a set of 243’s coming. Wasn’t looking to buy but it was a good deal. I don’t want a stall until I do the 4l80 swap.
So, stubs and seals. Sway bars and suspension is done.
Wheels and tires and rear fenders rolled too. Need at least a 275 out back.
It seems as though we think alike though, foundation first, power second.

@@goat_life254 well now that I'm older yeah lol. When I was a kid I was like I'm gonna get a 900cfm carb and 2" primary headers, the biggest choppiest cam I can get. Who needs to stop and turn? Lol

Hey boss I installed my rear sway bar but after a few days I wanted to adjust the stiffness and i guess the bushings came off , do you know if the metal tab on the bracket that holds the bushing is supposed to go in the insert on the frame ? I’d appreciate your help thank you

@@Hsvcoupe I've slept since I did all this so I really don't remember. I'll have to look at it tonight.

I think I know what you're asking, the bushings at the top that mount the bar to the subframe? The back of the brackets go into a slot cut into the subframe, then the bolt goes in the hole. Which is a bitch because it's up at a weird angle and it makes it almost impossible to get the bolt started. If it wasn't a total nightmare to get the bolt in then you might not have had the back of the bracket in those slots.

Do you the part# for the rear sway bar kit you mention at 1:50. Is it also Whiteline?

Yes it's definitely a whiteline, not sure on the part number but I definitely got it from kollar racing. Message him on the ls1gto forum
