Archer fish are deceptively intelligent. They can recognize people and use the water spit for nothing but trolling if they either don't like you or think you're being a bit too cute with getting close.
Piranhas in reality rarely tackle large prey and at most times don't attack anything larger than fish of similar size to their own size or smaller and are actually omnivorous consuming a substantial amount of plant material such as fallen fruit, nuts, seeds, leaves and detritus in addition to live prey. It's mainly during the dry season when water levels drop and piranhas more notably the Red-Bellied Piranha are forced into shallow pools in densely concentrated congregations. Being so close together with little space and severely depleted sources of food force the piranhas to attack almost anything that unwittingly decides to wade into the shallows with them simply out of a desperate need of food.
Bingo. They're generalists that can PVP if they need to, and that's a solid build on its own.
@@DinnerForkTongue Except most of the time that isn't even the case. People can wade into piranha infested waters and come out unscathed. In fact during most of their lives piranhas often end up becoming prey for larger predators such as caimans, giant otters, large wading birds and even us humans!
He forgot to add points for the ones that are tasty. Whenever I see a flying fish my mind flashes back to the terrible Piranha movies of the 80s. Catfish also can get larger than you would expect but yeah those spines are rough, my dad grabbed one to remove the hook and got caught by it and it tore up that skin that connects your thumb to finger.

another S tier in my opinion would be goliath grouper, capable of swallowing fish larger than themselves, and swallowing them whole.

Catfish is easy a B tier since they have the tendency to grow far beyond 10ft larger than some sharks the local dam where I live that has a 13ft catfish. The dam has a reputation for being heavy polluted so that’s most likely why it’s so big

Funfact: there is no such thing as a fish. The relationship between the things living in the sea is not so strong than the relationship between them and animals living on the ground. For example, a salmon is more closely related to a camel than it is to a hagfish. Fish as a word most likely finds it root in a description for "food".

The funny thing about the fish spec is that it’s so obscenely overpopulated that labeling every fish under the fish kingdom is a massive disservice. For context, it’s like if you combine reptiles, birds, AND mammals into one kingdom. Yeah they might have common ancestors and live in the same areas, but they’re vastly different from each other.

Never thought that salmon would be so low. I've seen so many salmon break peoples legs and cause other serious injuries. So much so, that a base ball bat is an important part of salmon fishing gear.
