Komodos are legitimate beasts, their venom is a natural blood thinner, meaning a bite can see you dropping to blood loss. That's not even counting the infections you could get from it.
@@nocount7517 so... the mythical legend it's more believeble (dying from shock), than the real one.... Imagine having to explain to someone, that you watched a lizard walking on water
I’m so glad you like lizards so much. I’d love a reptile pet, but I have the same worries that you do. I don’t want to take in an animal that I’m not sure I can take care of.
My 4th grade teacher had a bunch of critters (lizards, fish, crabs, amphibians)in the classroom, including an iguana named Spike, we were given the choice to volunteer to individually or as a team to take care of them in class. She'd let us take them home for the weekend if our parents gave the ok. It was a pretty good way to teach kids responsibility now that I think about it.
Had a Goanna (Monitor Lizard) steal a mates sock while we were swimming in the creek. The cheeky bugger ran up a nearby tree and slowly gulped it down while staring us in the eye
7:45 That's not necessarily true. Leopard Geckos are some of the easiest pets to take care of. Any other gecko species though will be at least a bit of a challenge to keep
@0:12 I just wonder how many people noticed the Eye Witness theme being played at the start of the video? or How many people even remember the Eye Witness theme? Good times lol.
Friend of mine and his girlfirend once tried to rehabilitate a abused iguana. The tailwhip from it could flay skin from your arms. Sadley they could not rehabilitate it QQ .
Interestingly, the fact that Basilisk Lizards are able to run across water is the reason why they are alternately known as the Jesus Christ Lizard. And yes, that is a legitimate alternate name for them.
Using the left/right arrow keys, at least on RUclips, you are able to rewind/fast-forward by five seconds respectively. Additionally, using the J/L keys, you can rewind/fast-forward by ten seconds respectively
Dude forgot to mention the 5th remaining category of reptiles today (7 if you count birds and mammals whi are descended from different reptile branches). The tuatara may look like a lizard, but is not one.
Could NOT agree more with the placement of Monitor Lizards, and especially Komodo Dragons, in S-Tier. And much like how the Shark Tier List had the Great White in S-Tier, and Megalodon in God Tier, Lizards have a similar scenario: They have Komodo Dragons in S-Tier, and their prehistoric relative, Megalania, in God Tier.
Here's a fun fact the gila monster is the only venomous lizard thats native in North America. A quick edit because I think he left out the horny toad... this tier list is now 0 out of 10. Now you're saying but egg it's a lizard list not amphibian list but you're wrong because they're lizards even if we call them toads.

I grew up poor, as well, but I still had a fair number of pet deaths on my conscience before graduating high school.
"destabilize the meta" is tier zoos video game way of saying that "this thing is invasive"
Ohhh I didn't pick up on that . Yeah your right
Komodos are legitimate beasts, their venom is a natural blood thinner, meaning a bite can see you dropping to blood loss. That's not even counting the infections you could get from it.
The word basilisk comes from a mythical snake of ancient Greece that could kill people with its stare
And in reality, it's a lizard that can (briefly) walk on water.

Lizards are strong in the current meta. According to the internet, lizards secretly run the government. But I'm not sure?? 🤔🤔
Some of them are cute though. They are just lil guys
@@Rosiebellmoo so cute 😊
komodo jogging is such a weird sight
its like prancing, but with the side floppy legs
it makes it look so happy
Used to have a toy gila monster named Gilly.
These tier lists look so interesting , but it would be the 'best' if the cow is always on top ✨👌
My cat is also very fond of lizards. He'll just sit there on the porch playing Red Light, Green Light with one all afternoon.

Dammit, I swear I've heard that outro melody in some show I grew up with.
At first I thought it was Airwolf but it isn't.
My family used to own a couple of Anoles. They were pretty neat.
Bearded dragons are pretty awesome. I have a friend who has one.
Horned lezard or not very powerful but have a very special build they can shot BLOOD from theyre EYES to repel predator
Oh, it's a pity the flying lizard wasn't featured in that video
Iguanas can also run on two legs it’s terrifying cause they’re huge
I love my Reptilian Friends, if only they're easier to keep, i would be having more lizards than cats
As a Brazilian, I say that teju/teiú has an oxtail that burns a lot. And they also bite hard
