For non Av-Geeks, I don’t think there would be too big of a difference between an A321 and an A330 in Economy, it’s business class where you can really see the difference! This new A321N-ER from Air Transat is like an entirely new product. Its fresh, clean and looks very appealing, seat pitch is generous for a 7 hour flight from the UK.

abreast in 2 classes, seat pitch is 31 inches in economy/coach. The 707 economy seat had about 38 inches of leg room so you could stretch out, relax and really
enjoy the experience. If your over 5`10 and doing a 10 hour flight, its not going to be fun, the true cost of adding 89 more seats to a smaller aircraft.

I went to Canada using Air Transat. It was my first long haul trip. Unfortunately I was so disappointed that it became my least favourite airline. I learned from that bad experience when it comes to choosing airlines. (That was over a decade ago...)
My next long haul was a trip to Hong Kong and onwards to Japan. I chosen Cathay Pacific. It turned out to be the best airline thus made my holiday the best experience.

The cabin layout and not the number of aisles is what makes the difference. You can cram a lot of people into a wide-body aircraft as easily as you can a narrow-body aircraft. Granted, a wide-body makes it possible to have a more robust premium economy section (with seats equivalent to US domestic First Class/Euro Business class), but there's a lot an airline can do with seating layout and service to make a long flight in a narrow-body aircraft more pleasant, or at least tolerable.

Yes there are advantages with a twin isle, but when will the automatic haters realise that more than 90% of the journey is in your seat. I for one prefer the wider seats on the A320 series to the narrower 737, but give me an extra 2 inches of legroom any day!
The overall in-flight experience is affected more by the quality of your seat and amount of personal space, coupled with the food and refreshments available or provided, along with the quality of service the cabin crew give - not the number of isles!

I love love love your reviews, but I wish there was more in depth review of meals.. it's always "all in all", "overall" a good meal haha. So nice of you guys but it's hard to understand which airlines really provide the better catering :D
