In case this video seems familiar, it is because this flight was previously covered in an episode of "Brutally Honest": ruclips.net/video/zNj_zDnDWrY/видео.html However, this Tripreport includes additional information and footage not previously shown on our channel... :) Hope you enjoy the video nonetheless!
Do you enjoy these types of videos more? I did that on my first video on my channel but later I changed to music and Voiceover. Which do you think is better? I want to improve my content constantly.
Hey Simply Aviation, idk if you care, but I just found out that I've flown on one of the same planes as you! TF-ISO from Icelandair you flew 2016, I flew 2019! I'm a huge fan of your channel, I find this an honour. Great trip report as well btw, I love Air Canada.
Thank you for that frequent flyer tip about the trash bag. I'm a cabin cleaner for several airlines and I cant stand finding a seat pocket just filled to the brim with loose trash. It makes my job so much easier when its bagged.
@@simply_aviation really i started to watch flight reviews recently only , many people just dont get to the point . but you guys are incredible ....., thank you so much that you replied to my comment . ❤ from India
I enjoyed your plane travel tip with the blanket bag, David! Pretty smart! I think it's so much fun to see the world from yours and Felix's perspectives! As we say in America, "Happy trails"! 🛩💺✈😊👍
@@simply_aviation I am truly amazed at how many times you all travel to be able to produce this much video. And the amount of effort taken to produce this type of video is truly admireble
When you’re waiting for the video, and the better surprise is that it’s transatlantic!!! *YES* 💪❤️💚♥️😂👍 long live Simply aviation! You’re the “ *best* “ ! Greetings from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦🤗😊 my pleasure to be one of your subscribers!
11:33 freeze frame. Where the airport is in Reykjavik, look at the larger, frozen over lake that one of the runways point to. Then look approximately north and slightly right from this perspective. There should be a square field of sorts. Just south, or below that, is the Icelandic parliament. That’s it. The government to an entire country inside of an entire city, captured by a camera from a plane’s perspective kilometers above. That’s amazing.
I flew on a 787-9 at Air Canada from Vancouver to Montréal in september 2019... domestic is different with buy on board meals. Their trans-atlantic flight from Toronto to Amsterdam was disappointing through, breakfast was only a breskfast cookie in economy.... Next time I’ll try KLM. I also missed a pre lunch and dinner snack like you’ll get at United... However the free Molson is very nice! All in all your experience is the same like mine
A really smart idea to use the blanket plastic bag as the trash bag, And I didn’t really know actually you can self-serve yourself to the beverages in the galley till I watched your long-haul flight videos :D
Nice Video man actually my friend was in this flight . Loved the video much and he mentioned me that this is one of the best transatlantic flights he had and he was so specific and he told it was his view ...Viewers choice may differ 👍👍👍
Nice report from my home city. Food seems like it never changes on AC, at least in economy class. And that horrible hard plastic that they use in the 777’s, 220’s, and Max’s?
The last time I flew with Air Canada they still had their old IFE system and I like to watch kids movies but they only had Rise Of The Guardians, Brave and Barnyard. Not a great selection. I ended up watching kids TV shows instead. Mostly Almost Naked Animals and The Fairly Oddparents and I ended up watching the same episodes over and over again because that was all they had. Autism is the reason for my love of kids programs
Took this flight twice last year. Once in June and once in November. Nice flight, economy seats are a little tight but YYZ is a nice Airport to transfer into the US in terms of Customs. I'd definitely take this flight again though.
I hve flown Air Canada before and they are much different than what you described in the description. Air Canada goes bove and beyond when it comes to inflight service.
Hello Simply Aviation! Great video as always! On 14 October you will be on the last Alitalia flight, right? And please, document one of the first flights of ITA - Italia Trasporto Aereo! ;)
The calm before the storm, or the noise before the quiet, whatever you want to call it. I did notice someone wearing an N95 mask at 4:45, so this was just before the crap hit the fan. Taken this and it's Austrian Airlines twin flight many, many times. Don't know when will be able to do it again. Austrian Airlines has a far superior service to Air Canada in my opinion, although they are in the same alliance, so depending on the time you want to fly, you book with one, you end up with the other. As far as I can tell Austrian has suspended flights to Toronto currently due to pandemic.
Watching this video, and especially seeing Thai Airways in it, makes me miss the feeling when I walk into the terminal from the plane after arriving from Bangkok for a European Journey 😭
Feels so strange to see airports being full of people and fully operational. Was flying from VIE recently there were very little people and nearly every shop was closed ( at the gate G at least )
Usually the flights are quite full, but I was traveling in early-February and February is always a weak month for air travel, so this particular flight was...I'd say 60-70% full...
Well, during winter peak, it tends not to be very popular and many airlines are not full except both Thanksgiving (in the USA and I suppose a Canadian Thanksgiving) and Christmas which the seats always are not full as well as tropical destinations such as Hawaii, Tahiti, the Caribbean countries, and some more. So, it is very common during the summer peak, many airlines always are very popular to fly Europe, Asia, and Hawaii. Plus it’s because of COVID-19 which they wish to not expose to that virus. So, I hope the virus will be downsized to around 95% or even perhaps more than 95% or it would be wipeout to 0%. Wait and see what happens in the near future. In additional to that maybe many passengers don’t wear their face asks during the long duration journey.

@Elliott Fortin well idk if he did but air transat but air transat is probably the worst airline in Canada
I love this aircraft😍😍😍
Still the best channel of trip report ever! No music, just subtitles only! 💓☺️

You know it’s David when he says ( *thank you* ) while deboarding the plane 🤗♥️ I’m not saying that Felix is mean! I’m saying it respectively ☺️😊
Really wish there were more North American carriers operating flights to VIE. But these days I really wouldn't get my hopes up...

Nice tip about using the plastic blanket bag as a trash can. That's what I always do!
Some lovely views over Iceland! The best entertainment is the view from the window seat. ✈️

Had to make sure it actually existed - for statistical reasons of course. Gotta say, great production and super informative, keep it up guys.
Look at just how quiet the Dreamliner is!

Great report David. Cattle class all the way.
Love the cabin, nice bright and clean looking.
Visited Insbruck once. What a beautiful country!
me seeing this in my notifications: "NONONO ill watch it later"
also me: FINE ill watch it
Sometime might need some relaxing music during the video
But I think most Asian flights are probably more relaxation
Austria looks phenomenal tbh... I think I’ll visit
My first time inside the 787, thanks!!

superb report video
United States has three flag carriers (American, Delta, and United) while Canada only has one?
I'm always amazed that people that film trip reports never seem to encounter enroute turbulence.
By the way
I love your videos
You're going to Toronto
That's was the place i was born
That's a pleasure to go there

Flew exact same plane, Toronto to Shanghai, almost in the exact same seat.
That's very Nice👍🎉🎉🎉
Does the cabin crew tell about the rear galley service station? Or you have to go there and see for it?
Excellent video, Im becoming a huge fan of yours. How did you manage to pay that price for the WHOLE trip??
Thank you so much! Especially in months like February when fewer people are traveling, you can find great deals for flights! :)
where do you get allways the money for the flights -_-?
From RUclips...duh.
