It sounds like they gave all the actors a general "you're under control of a parasite" direction, and it's interesting how they all seemed to interpret that differently. Some went with a robotic monotone, others made their units sound more aggressive, and others only changed slightly as though they were trying to blend in. Pretty cool.
I really like the Hellion's. It sounds pained, like the guy is trying to fight it.
The medic is still so cute during this and she is now submissive🥰

The Dark Archons do something similar in the "Legacy of the Void" campaign but the "possessed voices" are all similar instead of the variety of voices shown here.
The Possessed voices are just a much more loud and echoy version of the DA's lines,only some of it tho

I don't think neural parasite even lasts long enough to hear all these quotes.
Just so you know the reason they don't have arms is because the portrait is the only place these show up, and that is a zoomed in image, usually showing the head and neck area.

the waith is exacly the same from SC1 to SC2, nothing has really change, low anti ground dmg, medium anti air dmg, exacly same quotes and they just make the unit in-game just smother and 3D
@lordeppiothe1 the swarm is the zerg basically. and one of the units (infestors) can take control of an enemy unit for a short time, until killed, or if the target moves out of range. the vid is of the controlled units.

@polygonporygon Well, lore-wise, Archons seem to burn out and become actually dead not too long after the Templar merge. I suppose that's why.
@Coraxuss Thing is, Archons are basically blazing with psionic power... (lore-wise anyway) They should be able to just burn away the parasite on contact, regardless of whether there's anything organic left in them. It's also strange that the parasite also affects completely mechanical units, i.e. Colossi. Balance reasons, I suppose.
@max123exp you can, there's actually an achievement that's called "zerglot" and requires you to warp in a zealot while playing as zerg, a probe can put down a nexus while being NP'd, if you want a CC from terran then you'll need a lot of infestors NP the single SCV in turn to let it finish. even if you have another race to play your max supply is still 200 so there's not really a point for doing it, although stuff like medivac+zerg army is fun to play sometimes.
i never noticed the mullet on the SCV until now
@endofline98 no that wasn't a mis type, there's a unit called the "tauran space marine" it cam as an easter egg in one of the missions. you can see it at 9:45.

@kyuzona It's a Tauren Marine, Taurens are units in the ORC faction in WarCraft 3. He did say For the Horde-- I mean, Swarm.
