This is a request for the Chalchitra team, can you please attach a list of all recommendations (Movies/Directors). There are so many to take note of, It takes 3-4 hrs to watch the episodes every time I watch. Please please consider it. And keep doing it.
I guess if they attach a list with recommendations into the description or a pinned comment then the audience won't watch the entire video because they will be accessible to readily available material and won't have to watch the entire gig.
The one thing I adore about Chalchitra Talks that needs to be put out there is: The way they put the pictures/illustrations of the topic/movie/poster/person/anything that they are talking about. It doesn’t break the flow of stopping the video to see what the conversation is about by searching that specific thing. Very underrated but makes them so goood at what they do. Kudos. 🙌

1:07:44 i cannot communicate how strongly i agree with this , dil tootne se art nikali hai is such an Indian concept. I believe especially in music , agar romantic gana hoga to you will see comments like pakka dil toota hai etc. Good art or great art comes from experimentation , trying and trying And you get lucky , when that luck becomes a muscle you are talented.
For books the best platform right now, specially in hindi writing is kitbawala by lallantop. Saurabh is a voracious reader and has a huge reach as well.
So so glad they got him back for a longer chat! So many unique reccos , a unique perspective aand has the ability to convey it clearly . The G.O.A.T of all Varuns 😄

Varun Grover ka insta vibe hai Probably one of the most brilliant minds ever has the most chaotic "Normal" instagram there is (Stories) Which exactly how I use my IG as a daily journal.
@21:04 I think its the opposite @varungrover. Raj Kapoor is sent to war and Rajendra Kumar aur Vyjayantimala ko pyaar ho jata hai which is why Raj Kapoor comes back and sings Dost dost na rahaaaa .. pyaar pyaar na rahaa🎶🎵
Thank you so much for bringing Varun Grover. As usual Varun was very insightful and lucid. Loved the episode entirely, wished it could be long. #MadanChopra
At around 32:00 Varun: "If you ask me films that someone should be ashamed of not watching, I can give you 500 names. But a good starting point would be to google Top..." Me: Thinking surely Varun can't say something as simple as Imdb Top 250 🤔 Varun: "...Top 100 Debut films" Me (and Vaibhav): 🤯 That is, such a smart starting point!!
I totally agree with Varun. Hindi literature (especially for kids) was almost vanished. No mainstream stores (i.e. Crosswords etc) keep hindi literature books for kids. Thanks Varun for mentioning Ektara publications. I would like to mention here that 2 years back I saw Ektara publications and Pitara by Eklavya publications in Delhi Book Fair and I instantly fell in love with them. I bought several books from them. Now I eagerly wait for Book fair. JUST so I can go and buy books from Pitara and Ektara. Pitara caught my attention as their content and presentation is highly innovative. It is a surprise to me that they are very cheap. People MUST look and buy books for their kids from these 2 publications.
Debut film of nagraj manjule fandry is a must watch. Even his other film sairat was box office blockbuster but but fandry is on top for me. Even i guess nagraj by himself cannot surpass the work he has done with fandry
Hey Chalchitra Talks, today I watched your video about Kamal Haasan ji's filmography. So I was wondering if there was something similar with other actors or filmakers. Loved your conversations.
Very nice discussion. Honest to the core. Do you have the list of recommendations made by Varun? I just watched/listened the episode, but did not take notes.
#MadanChopra and episode was great, Varun Grover❤️is always an amazing person to listen, I have taken all the podcast recommendation from him and the movies list which I am ashamed of not watching it😅
