Montreal had it bad a few years ago along Notre Dame street from about Pie-IX and Frontenac. There was a fire at one of the camps so they shut it down and removed all the tents. This summer they started doing it again but the city stopped it before it got out of hand. A lot more crime in the area of these types of Encampments.

@Christine LaBeach You can walk out of any store in LA with $999.00 worth of merchandise, so who cares about a shopping cart? Certainly not the district attorney.
This is absurd. I live in WLA (very close to Venice). All they have to do is make daily clean up sweeps and arrest the drug dealers (Venice Beach is a known drug hub, has been for 30+ years). If a tent shows up, throw it away, tear it down. If our politicians and law enforcement refuse to enforce the laws, this is what happens, an accumulation and illegal squatting. We pay super high taxes, there is no excuse for this.....the City is not adequately doing their job all while price gouging the tax payers.
It is these lazy ass bureaucrats fault!!!!!!!!!. It looks like these squatters have been settling roots here and all over Venice for quite some time and by that I mean, years!!!!!!!. Firings are demanded here for allowing Venice become a total pig stay. These Democrats!!

Read my reply at the top it'll tell you what you can do and how to fix this homeless problem or file a simple lawsuit to make them pay. When they pay they will definitely start to fix the problem. I use the same method with a bad landlord and it didn't even go to court but I shut him down for an uninhabitable apartment. And it shows you how to do it legally. Let's face it we're all paying for the homeless problem with their taxes going up and not coming back down, devaluing our houses, taxes increased in these Lawless tent encampment cities. Higher prices in stores at these Lawless tent encampment cities from all the theft 24/7 non-stop. Homeless or stealing catalytic converters and being sold out of state or at local metal companies in my area that's been proven. And anyone that would literally like to help the homeless and think People like Us are mean and not understanding. You're more than welcome to let the homeless in your house or even in your backyard and see how good that works out for you. I wouldn't advise this but if you're this naive more power to you you'll find out the hard way it doesn't work. Homeless can get rehab that's what they need the most and very few get it until they wind up in jail or prison. But if they die it's too late to help them. Homeless on the street if left untreated will wind up in prison or dead from overdosing. Over 93% of the homeless on the street are hardcore drug addicts and need rehab for life because the problem doesn't just go away. Even after you become clean you'll be tempted to do drugs and go down the bad path again when things go bad. This is why we need to preach to our children don't smoke cigarettes, don't vape, don't do tobacco products, don't drink alcohol, don't smoke marijuana, don't do doctor prescribed prescription pills, don't do or try illegal drugs because all these I mentioned are gateway drugs to more hardcore drugs like hardcore prescription pills and hardcore illegal drugs. And once you get on the hardcore drugs it's all downhill it's a lifelong addiction for life. And usually you will end up losing everything you have and be homeless. With the rising Non-Stop inflation, job loss, rising rent, and no end in sight it's easy to turn to the doctor and try something to numb your mind but this will lead to drug use in an addiction problem. Because most everything a doctor prescribes you lose your caring and compassion and once this happens it's all downhill. So it's better not to use drugs of any type in the first place. I will not do no harm to my body and this includes vaccinations or a mask to cut off my oxygen. If people are falling down on the ground and not getting back up I might throw on a mask at that time and run away and not come out of my house if it's that bad. But so far I've not seen that situation yet. And if you truly think government cares look at the homeless on the street that says it all and it says they don't care. And of course politicians will say they care but they sure have a funny way of showing it.
This makes my heart happy seeing this. I used to feel sorry for the homeless, but then I realized that most of them got themselves in that situation because of their irresponsibility. Now I see them as cancer in society. Homelessness should be a crime in a rich country like the US. There is no excuse. If my 40+ brother in law who barely speaks english was able to get a job just a couple of months after moving here, there is no reason for anyone who's born and raised here to not have a job. They ruined their own lives and they're making our communities unsafe and dirty.
Immigrants, mostly illegals, are given jobs more easily than natives in all countries with a large influx of foreigners. Those homeless people are more unlucky than "irresponsible".

Deliberate destruction of the United States by the cabal.
Yup same in Albany NY area
They are allowed to panhandle and harass businesses also

@@internetcensure5849 ... That's a lie. I got my job just like how anyone else did and so did my family. I came here legally too. They're not unlucky at all but irresponsible.
