Just giving the city employees something to do, these people will be off to the next street to destroy it too. Just because you're homeless dosent give you the right to burn fires and destroy other people's properties and propertie values! I was homeless for almost a year myself but I didn't build a living room in the middle of a road, I stayed out of the way and worked on getting myself together.
THEY ARE FUCKING LAZY WITH EXCUSE SAYING I CANT GET A JOB BECAUSE I WENT TO JAIL OR HAVE A SOCIAL PROBLEAM AMONG A LARGE CROWND.. BUT IF YOU SAY WE ARE GOING TO PUT YOU IN PRISON FOR THE REST OF THERE LIFE I GARANTEE THEY WILL BE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING TO IN TOWN LIKE CLEAN THE WHOLE CITY.. BECAUSE THEY ARE ALREADY IN THE STREET SO THEY CAN JUST START IT SHOW RICH HOW THE CITY WILL BE CLEAN BECAUSE NONE WANT TO BE IN JAIL.. WATCHING WHO HAVE A CUTE BUT DOESNT MATTER THE GENDER .. TRUST THEY WILL BE LOOKING FOR ANY WORK TEMP
You are good example of leaving out from street, but question? You perhaps didnt have a nice car parking somewhere down on the by a gas station and you did change clothing to beg for money all day did you?
@@noneyourbusines6738 I didn't have a car and walked everywhere, I didn't beg people for change or anything either. Luckily I had one friend that would let me borrow his lawn mower and I would push it door to door. Never made a lot but I would make enough to get some food and go back to my spot in the woods. Anything else you want to know? Or if I just misunderstood you I apologize and take care brother!
@@noneyourbusines6738 I'm a really anti social person myself, that might have been one of the reasons I couldn't ask people for help.
@@noneyourbusines6738 amen to that!
The amount of junk they accumulate is mind blowing.
Do goers donate their shit to the houseless Americans
I've read where homeless people hoard every item they find, get or are given.
It's written they feel a sense of loss or control while homeless; hoarding items gives them a sense of some type of control over something.
It's really sad, if the appropriate resources such as: rehabilitation ( alcohol/drugs),mental health ( including much needed institution facilities) and more help available with rent/mortgage ( when people get sick or loss of jobs) was made available, these conditions would minimize.
Many agencies receive the governmental monetary help, yet paying employees and management who make 6 figure incomes, the help disbursed for those intended is minimal.
The government should start small agencies were all employees make the same amount ( not 6 figure incomes) then maybe, just maybe more of the money would make it for it's intended need.
Now, all the others who just want to back pack and live off the fat of the land, those people would be evaluated for employment and have their SNAP benefits cut off after 3 months. There are too many jobs for many of these able bodied people to want to just live in tents and collect SNAP benefits. For that group, their free ride would end after 3 months.
@@SweeTeaNLemon keep it real. Most these people don't want help. A majority of souls are lost and can't be helped.. The drug game is different last 5 years. There is no hope for many.
@@SweeTeaNLemon Literally NO. Just not even close to reality. It only sounds nice and pretty to say that.
@@8Jah I agree. Most of them are given shelter but decline. They rather be on the streets and do whatever they want. To live in shelter they are rules. They do not wish to follow rules so they rather be homeless. I don't feel bad for homeless at all.
I like the way they used the mattresses to mop up the filth. Effective.
Great job documenting, just film. We are observing this chosen chaos of the Urban Camper.
I love the tractor operator USING THE MATTRESS TO WIPE UP THE SLOP AND OTHER CRAP OFF THE STREET.
Me too, just folded it up like a wash rag.
That was disgusting did you see how black the matress was made me want to spew.

Any plumber could tell you what that black stuff is on the mattress

Me mata la tristeza...no sabemos sus problemas...y cada noche van mis oraciones por todos los necesitados del mundo.
These guys did a good job
They all look young and able to work
They are lazy pieces of crap
There are older people and disabled among them though. They're more likely to live in vehicles or to get priority for tiny house villages and that kind of thing. There the ones who don't want to live in the street. In my city there are no Section 8 places and people aren't even allowed to go on waiting lists.
Mereka masih usia produktif....memang pemalas
How do you know they don’t? But can’t afford rent. The guy in the Green had “Staff” on the back of his shirt.
Good job!!! We must recover our cities, beaches, parks and sidewalks
and do what with the homeless? how come nothing is ever done but shuffling them around
Have you ever heard of if you don't want to help yourself then why should you expect others to help you. These people or most don't want to work or anything they have given up on life. But you have to get a grip and try at least. I have had friends that try to hire these homeless people to work at 40 or 50 bucks a day cash money and they turn them down when it is as simple as picking trash up on lots and stuff so they can mow them. So understand one thing before you start spewing that stuff out of your mouth if they don't want to help or better there self then you can't expect the public too. There not children there grow ass adults that don't give a crap about there self or you. So dog off in your wallet alittle deeper and let several of them move into your house. That will get them off the streets. 👍
There’s nothing wrong with being poor but there’s definitely something wrong with being filthy and unorganized. It’s uncalled for. I’ve been homeless but I always kept myself and my things tidy and presentable.
I have come to believe that hoarding and homelessness are two sides of the same coin. THAT would explain it...
I have to agree I been homeless and I never was filthy and all cluttered up like that.
It's one thing to be discreet, another to do what these people are doing, and they are putting heat on people who are trying to keep it down. They are the bottom feeders of the bottom feeders.
unfortuantly we will all be lunped together as these people. ive seen people say to purge homeless or just send them to jail if they wont work....thats literal facism.....i get it,....i live in the TL in san francisco its absolutley horrible but im moving next year. i was homeless 20 years, but i was nomadic and moved around never wearing my welcome out and offering goods (jewelry) and music. small towns i could get work pretty easy, especially if there was a home depot. but most of society will label us as drugs bums and criminals, which we all are not.
I'd say there's something very wrong with being poor. You can't afford to live! Everyone started wet and ugly. Poor people, get a job. Fast food places in my town are begging for unskilled teens to flip burgers for $25/hr.
What I find incredible is the amount of stuff we have in the US, and give away for free. We clearly lucky to live in this time.
you have no idea the amount of food and items we waste.its pathetic. we throw away enough food just becuase we cant profit off it to cure hunger in the world
The problem is not that people have no empathy for homeless it's that setting up on public streets is not only an eyesore but unsanitary and public walkways and access denied to fellow citizens.
Yeah, the Socialist/Dems don't give a shit about that. If that hasn't sunk in yet then you're just as guilty as the Democrats because you voted for them.

there should be a place set up for them since everywhere is a public street no matter where you walk, provide transportation to the designated zone and people will be corralled there. Even if that's jail at least it's consistent.
It's crazy the resources $$$ being spent on cleaning that filth, great job all the workers involved 👏 👌
No enforcement just a,lows them to move then return
We used to house them in institutions. That threat made those people make better choices, and it was way less expensive for tax payers.

As an urban outdoorsman, I don't need someone to clean up my camp. I clean up every morning and leave the space clean. Just like I found it. The other benefits are that I respect the people who let me spend the night and they respect me for not trashing their place of business, and I run by myself. Never was a fan of Jerry Springer.

It's a bit scary that a state the size of CA can't even deal with homelessness/vagrants/ beach bums.
Hey, I'm a North Carolina beach bum!, but I do live in a house not a tent.
Lack of leadership.
Its tough dealing with this problem because of the freedoms we have as Americans. The homeless are not required to find a home. People have the freedom to do nothing productive if they wish. You cannot round them up and put them in work camps, this is not NAZI germany. You can provide help but they cannot be forced to take it. It is a big problem

It's great to see this. Cal Trans has been on a mission the last 8 months cleaning some Valley areas, Beach areas, Inglewood areas by SoFi stadium, and areas along the 101 freeway near downtown.
Homeless citizens who don't litter and urinate everywhere are not the people being targeted.
It's the homeless citizens who are allergic to trash cans and trash their living areas that are bringing all this attention to themselves.

That guy complaining that someone stole his trash when he left it in the street! 🤣
I was once young and naive and I volunteered to help the homeless but I quickly found out that most of them are entitled brats. Most homeless simply want to be left alone, and believe it or not they are perfectly content with living this lifestyle - most people cannot comprehend this. If you give them pizza they're mad it's not steak, you give them water they're mad it's not soda, you give them coffee they're mad it's not starbucks. Some homeless have very strong support systems with family that will house them and believe it or not some of them are extremely rich. Nothing will make you feel more like a fool than trying to help a millionaire homeless person. I guarantee some of the homeless people you see in these videos are outright millionaires.
Billionaires ? Not a single human being wants to live without sanitation, water, electricity and a solid roof above your head.
I think you are confusing panhandler/swindlers with the homeless. I do agree with your other points about them thriving on this lifestyle and demanding better stuff when helped. I believe the vast majority are drug users that cannot adapt or refuse to adapt to social constructs.

You would literally be a prisoner in your own home.
Wiping the nasty street with a nasty mattress. That is classic. I think that operator has done that before. Well done crew.
if you can supply shelters for them, there should be a strict law against on living on the street. You don't need a tent with belongings such as lawn furniture, sofas and a half dozen bicycles and the residents should not have to put up with this junk. Then they complain when it gets taken. If you own a home, there are laws against having it in your front yard so why do we allow this on our streets.
👏 👏 👏
Because if your homeless you should have nothing..We should make them walk around naked with a sign on their neck..Ohh.maybe even brand them..How dare they not conform to the system..
I don't know for sure but I've been told by people who are homeless that the shelters are not safe. Between fights and stealing some don't want to be in any shelters available. Personally I don't know 😕
If the shelters had showers, and let you stay in them. 99% of shelters don't let you stay there in the day time or morning, nor do they give you food. Also having a bike lets you travel to work for a living.
@@SpaceRanger187 They don't have to conform to the system. But I shouldn't have to pay for their nonconformity. Imagine the concept that they had a job and were contributing to society instead of being a drain. Just imagine.
I have lived in Los Angeles for 53 years. There have always been homeless people on Skid Row. You would see a handful around the city pushing a shopping cart loaded with various items and maybe a pad and blanket for sleeping. Never would I see tents, couches, queen size beds and mounds of trash. At night, the homeless would conceal themselves. Somewhere that all changed. I have never heard an explanation from any politician as to how things changed. Why are there thousands of homeless encampments across the city? Who are these homeless? Where did they come from? Have they moved here from other states that do not tolerate camping anywhere? Are these people recently released felons? We are told by the politicians, "There but for the grace of GOD go I." Umm, no. Most of us live our lives so we will never be homeless, never injecting meth, never stealing, never committing violent crimes. We are told by politicians that the homeless do not present a threat, yet daily we hear of assaults and murders committed by members of the homeless community. Los Angeles tax payers have voted for every proposition to help the homeless; billions of dollars have been squandered.
Exactly!!! Measure H? What happened, I'm done voting for any homeless measure ever again. Compassion has flown out the window, with the miss management of funds. These politicians should be in jail, or better yet homeless.
Have you also seen the homeless who live in vehicles, motorhomes, or some type of commercial truck turned into a home? The majority of these people obviously have more income, but still can't afford or don't wanna pay high ass cost of living in California. I can't say I blame them either. A tiny cracker Jack box house in Crenshaw cost at least $500,000 or more nowadays. If I even had the money, I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a small ass house. I'd stay in a motorhome too. I watched a documentary about a homeless woman who's a Social Worker and her kids out there living in a van.

@@mitmitization Free med clinics for the mentally ill (ssi) And free job search and assistance programs through transitional facilities.
If a homeless schizophrenic or manic doesn't want to be responsible by checking in and taking their daily meds. Then that would be strike one. At that point their Looney ass will be sent to the mental facility for lockup. There they will be put back on and regulated on their meds. Once back on their meds they will have the choice to be sent back out to the street or to a transitional facility. There they will have to follow the rules of the transitional facility. Where they will learn and perform daily life skill routines and will have acquired a steady paying job. Upon graduation and or completion, they will then be assisted into subsidized housing and will have to attend and participate in weekly meeting classes and therapy. Failure by disobedience in such programs affords them a ticket back out onto the street. Go off your meds. Strike two and repeat the process. Third strike and you will be locked up in the mental facility, which will then double as a transitional facility, for 1 year.
Those who wish to be off drugs can also if they choose to be locked up for 1 year. Then can be transferred to a transitional facility or back out onto the streets.

@@CosmicConnection968 I feel sorry for us. We pay for those stolen in increased prices
@Leroy Gardner nah fuck them, they steal anything they can get their hands on in hopes of carrying other stolen goods to pay for drugs. I feel bad but they don't want the help, they want to get high and ruin our streets
@Leroy Gardner their sorry parents. no dissaplend then they run a ground of the law .then have a life of crime. then they end up in jail i.see it all the time as a jail chaplain
@Leroy Gardner they probably got that mindset from fathers like Leroy
People pick up the carts and sell them back to the stores for $10-$20. Most of those carts are stolen by little old Mexican ladies, they leave them outside their apartments and then the homeless get them.
Hell, if I had a business on that street, I would of bought lunch for all this workers. After the clean up, it looked like a war zone.
It looked like a john carpenter scene out of "they live " when the bulldozer comes in all scraps everything off the street.
Orange vest must be a cew boss. Hasn't lifted a finger.
@@sherrykfun Yep. He would gain more respect by the employees by indulging himself a bit.
I wouldn't have only becuase by tomorrow all of them will be back. Im promise you. Find out the street name and i berry theres still homless people there
Just one of those workers is likely earning more per day than those T-shirt and bikini sellers on the strand.
Que lindo se ve las cosas limpia
Omg ::: that lady with pictures & a sofa 😂😂
She forgot her blue suitcase with the belt helmet lol
County farms use to be the cure.Homeless could work the fields and livestock for room and board.would think that would attract 20 percent of them.
Lol like 5% of them.
People have to have some money. They need clothes, soap, towels, toothpaste, and a phone and transportation so they can look for a job.
How dare someone steal that man's stolen stuff?!
😄
🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Good stuff!
Good job!!!!!
Gee, if I show up on Martha's Vineyard, in the Hamptons or on Mercer Island and say "I'm homeless, now house me!", do you think I'd get a nice hand-me-down mansion? Why do people say it's Los Angeles' responsibility to house every indigent who makes it to the Pacific Ocean?
No, and neither are these people. What is wrong with you?
Good it's about time! Jus like their crackin down on unpermitted vendors it's time to crack down on unpermitted campers!!
I give this a 2 fat thumbs up 👍🏼
It’s about time they put an end to this foolishness. There is no reason for anyone to be homeless. It’s a cause of laziness, addiction, and mental health.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach him how to fish, feed him for a lifetime.
the problem is ego. and their culture that if ur become 18 mind your own .they want to live alone but luck of proper education to stand alone to compete. to earn for themselves.
Lol we're just going to ignore inflation and the decline of mental health in America then. Anyone can become homeless, and it doesn't even have to be their fault.
"An end" That's hilarious...
IT'S GOOD TO SEE GOING ON.
It's unbelievable to see so many people without a home gather so much stuff. One would like think, seeing that if you are homeless why would you want all this junk....But that truly is a sign that they don't have any intention of trying to get back on there feet, they would much rather get high and live on the streets and commit any crime that needs to done to continue there life style....I am so passed the point of having any compassion for them, they are cockroaches.
Here is the your answer someone tought that by given them some old stuff that means he/she would be helping thenselfs is almost a native indian thing in some states i think.. i cannot even open my on Casino because my ancester dod move passing the border way down south so now i am Brazilian today..
Your right, we should execute them all, right now.
@@marcellachine5718 lol now thats a little too far but i feel your pain.
It is time for these young healthy homeless people by choice to find a job and pay bills like we all do .Most of them are lazy or into drugs. Time to clean up now
That is harsh, although I don’t understand y they need all that stuff, it has to be a mental thing.
The area looked great after the power washer was used on the sidewalks. No one with a brain should be complaining about any these efforts by Caltran. Those workers had pride in their work.
Nice. So satisfying to get rid of junk
P *4 of 4* The homeless can simply move the tents they are using now into the homeless-village and the RVs are assigned a parking space. *Or the **_Shelter 100,_** provided by FEMA,* is a $9,500 shelter that is climate controlled, built in one hour, is 100 sq. ft., and uses a folding bunk system to house up to four beds. *_Pallet Shelter's_* private sleeping cabins offer *security* and durability. Which addresses the concerns of the homeless who reject the restrictions of “bed-only” homeless-shelters; for only one night.
No wonder stores have to up there prices. Look at all the stolen shopping carts.
Their hoarding pushes people to say something about the amount of junk piling up. All they need are the necessities in a cart, food, shelter, few clothings and toiletries, because being homeless is not supposed to be a long term plan. Unless you’re disabled or suffer from a medical condition you shouldn’t be lugging around a couch.
@1zzy L
I wouldn't doubt it.
No shame.
Bet they walked away so proud of themselves!

It's really sad though.
I feel fortunate I had a stable home growing up. Worked for a large company for 40 years and retired. Never been homeless or strung out on drugs.
My local grocery store has upped their buggy prices to one dollar I guess they think that’s going to stop disappearance/theft of the buggies but the homeless will always find a way through begging to get $1 for a buggy and keep it for all the crap they pick out of people’s garbage at the curb/donation bins.

Wow
It's so sad. So many young homeless people. They all looked like they're in their mid 20's to 30's. They all seem healthy and capable of so much more in life. I wonder what lead them there.
drugs and in most case mental problems not to mention murder and high crime its time to be tough on them .
No self respect or self discipline... add in our entitlement and no personal responsibility culture.
Drugs. This is what happens when you do drugs kids.
No matter the cause, they chose to be homeless junkies...
street sweeping with the mattress was elite
During the Great Depression [1929-45], they called such encampments Hoovervilles, after President Hoover. Maybe we should start calling them Congressvilles, in recognition of the service Congress does for the rich and their lobbyists.
Get rid of the ones that are crazy violent and drug addicted. They are not all like that. Resolve yourself to the fact that you can't save the world help those who are trying to help themselves.
The Supreme Court has ruled they can’t be incarcerated or hospitalized against their will unless they commit a crime.
thanks. at least some one notices us
There is a great hand tool these guys need. A set of pitchforks !
Far less stooping over and tossing dangerous stuff.
people must be jumping in happiness for this
The thing I can say about one of our homeless encampments is....they have really kept it clean. The business, across the freeway, said that if they needed to, they could dump their garbage in the business dumpster. This encampment also has their own rules. Break a rule, take a hike. They haven't caused problems. They are right next to a busy street and haven't even panhandled.
some people just want a life free of societies bullshit. unfortunatly, we are all lumped in as druggies, criminals, bums.ive had people throw bottles at me, jump me, cops beat me up and left me on side of road, and countless people telling me to fuck off and die. yet they complained we didnt help our vets. im an army veteran
The street needs a pressure wash
L A County needs a pressure wash.

As I've often said - 'Last one out, turn off the lights' ! 😬 🇺🇸 💀
We are in drought, no can do😢
I wonder where these people will go next to set up camp, and why did it take so long for the city to take some action and move them out? Also, it looks like these people had been in this location for quite a while. I am surprised at the amount of stuff they collected.
Every Homeless person will have a home of their own when nesara/Gesara comes in affect no one around the world will no longer be homeless this could be why they are finally after all these years they are cleaning the streets they have done the same in Washington DC they removed them from a park
There is a process. These people have to be served an eviction notice. In some cases their belonging have to be stored at the states cost, even if its a cart full of trash. The people that want help get help. These people don't want help. There are so many free resources the homeless have access to.
They can set up a make shift house in 2hours. Not there when you went to bed🌃 there when you wake up.🌅
There is help with getting rid of anything🦠 in your neighborhood.
Call your city for information who to reach out to for any problem you see.
F of Parts A-F The homeless-shelters are powered and heated with butane and solar-panels, depending on how well the infrastructure held up, which are integrated into the construction of the *temporary* _homeless-shelters._ Which are a dry, clean, safe place to sleep, and store their stuff. People from the city drive out to the *Homeless-Shelter-Villages* [HSV] to pick up food bank food; because that is where the food banks and free-ice machines are located.
So cute video
the politicians treat homelessness like swatting a fly, they miss and the fly just lands somewhere else
So how would you solve this problem?
I have never dealt with anyone that was homeless but just remember that it could be you or yours one day.
thats so true i was homeless from jan 10 until april i called my son come get me then his wife and my son apt its small somewhere to live i agree with you i went thru it felt like a dream cause last time i was homeless when i was younger aftrermy momnpass away it feel like a dream it can happen to any person
Doubtful, unless you have an addiction or mental illness - both of which are the choices of a weak mind. Strong, durable, capable Folks with coping skills will be just fine.
Keep voting the way you do fellow Californians, you reap what you sow...
Bravo
Perhaps The Money Being Spent On Housing Non Citizens,Can House These Homeless Citizens.JS!
Sad💔
I'm far more interested in seeing where the hell those people went to ON FOOT towing and pushing their meager belonging!
