Hi. The overall process should work on Word. However, I only have an old version of word (2007) and I very rarely use Word. Sorry I can't help you more. There are quite a few videos on RUclips about making small booklets. I hope you find the one right for you.

MAKING THE TEMPLATE - Okay, here is the process. 1 - Decide what paper size to use. This is limited by your printer ability. I can print up to 11" x 17". 2 - Next fold the paper a number of times to make the page size you want. Make sure the creases are good so you can see the division between pages. Alternatively, you can color the folded edges with a felt tip pen. 3 - Now open up the paper so it is flat on the table. You should be able to see the individual pages on the paper - either by seeing the creases of the felt pen marks. 4 - You could use Publisher to make this page also. Just divide a blank page into the number of equally sized pages as needed. I usually use 8 boxes on an 8.5 x 11 and 16-boxes on an 11 x 16. 5 - Next you have to mark the pages on both sides of the paper with a unique system. I use letters on the small page and numbers and letters on the large sheet. NOTE: Use symbols that allow you to identify pages that are turned upside down. Use A, B, K, etc., not O, X, H, etc. 6 - Take a picture of both sides (or save the publisher file). 7 - Next you have to fold up the paper into a book. Cut all the outside folded edges to separate the pages. 8 - Stape the middle "spine" of the booklet. 9 - Now, if you flip through the booklet, it will show you the order of the pages based on your system of marking the template. 10 - Mark down the order of pages from the front to back cover. This is the order in which you must link the text flow through the text boxes in your template. 11 - Note - you will have to invert some of the text boxes. 12 - I produce the text in one file and then copy & paste it into the book template. I usually use either a size 10 or 12 font, Arial or Arial Narrow. 12 - I will try and make a video of the process and post it soon.
Hi Mariah - If you are still interested... - I will try to make a video over the next week or so. BTW - I use an old Publisher version (2007). So, some things may be done a little differently now.
