No problem brother. I have updated videos like this I recently did in the last few weeks they are much better you should check them out. Thanks for watching!
Great video. You really described how to do these very well. Very descriptive and you didn’t rush it so it was easy to follow. I’m going to try these this weekend at the beach. Looking forward to watching more.
I do thing a lot different now years later to include using beads and floats and different terminal tackle I’m gonna make that video very soon explaining how and why. I hope you susbscribed. Thanks
Thank you so much. I have wanted to make these type diy rigs, but I have arthritis in my hands, and nerve shaking in my left at times. Knots that I have been tying for most of my life I can still do, but tying the dropper loop in regular fashion that I have never tied was tough to master for me for those reasons. This rig board solves my problem.
@@SlotCityFishing Yes, but not near as often as I would like due to health issues. Those issues are improving, so I will be fishing more in the future. Thanks.
The "clinch knot" you show is really a uni-knot. Also, your "surgeon's loop knot" is really two overhand loop knots. The true surgeon's loop knot starts as a simple overhand knot but with a second passing through of the working end through the loop created.
did you watch chips video? thanks again for watching and i hope you are a subscriber to the channel with notifications on we are uploading another surf video today.
@@SlotCityFishing yes sir! Watched both your video and chips. Definitely have learned a great deal from yall. Keep up the good work! I will certainly watch the new surf video as soon as its get uploaded.
Man i made a hand full of these not to long ago for me and some friends. Yes it makes it easier and way faster. Awsome video man!! Those rig boards have been forgotten.
Just got stationed in nas jax a few months ago and trying to figure out the fishing down here would love to meet up with you boys sometime and get a little help, I know with everything going on currently and the navy putting out new rules that you guys might not be out as much or take me up but id figure id give it a try. Appreciate you guys with the information in your videos been trying to catch as many new species. I live 10 minutes from base and I am there cutting fish often so im no stranger down there. Would love to hear from you guys and get a day of fishing in with y’all. Thanks
Awesome video, I now have leaders for my next trip!! Quick question, what is that booklet/storage you're using for your leaders? That looks so helpful in keeping leaders organized. Thanks again for the video
I don’t know where you learned your knots. The surgeons loop is made by creating a bite then making a loop then passing twice through that loop then tightening it. The clinch knot is made by creating a bite then passing the tag and around the standing end four times then back through the loop created by the bite and pulling the tag end and mainline to tighten. You can ask your buddy the sinker guy.
Man this is a popular topic lately, I just made a video on it as well and the algorithm has been putting all sorts of other uploads of the same topic on my suggested video section. Its always interesting to see the differences and the similarities of these type of videos. I also like to see the different style terminal tackle each person uses that varies.
Last year I did a test by tying the dropper loop about 20 times, comparing it with other ways to make a loop. The dropper loop, your second knot, kept cutting itself and is now my least favorite knot.
The not that you’re using that you’re calling a clinch not that is in correct it’s not a clinch not it’s a Uni not to a hook or to a swivel learn your nuts Jesse
Thanks, great info for someone who has not surf fished in a few years!!!

Great videos bro ! Whens the last time you fished Corpus
It was like 2017 I think thanks for watching bro
What size barrel swivel are you using
@@jerryrayfield6695 not sure but it doesn’t really matter as long as it’s a stronger size than the breaking strength of your line.
BTW very good video for new fishermen! Thanks

The rig board is definitely better but with heavy pound test the loops will hold I’ve never had one break
Can you do another giveaway for subscribers bro.
Yep. there are always giveaways goin on make sure you have notifications on so youll see when the new ones come out.
If you pass the hook through the loop twice before pulling tight you dont have to tie 2 seperate knots.
Palomar knot is quicker also.
Bacon neck haha
Tighten that collar up shipmate.
Lol thanks hope you subscribed

Sup shake.
I can never find the damn links

Making true dropper loops is not hard to do. I can tie a double dropper loop rig in about a minute.
