Store bought rigs get expensive to replace when the blues and lady fish are biting. I think it saves a lot more than a dollar or two per rig. For $35 or $40, I could buy the basics to make a bunch of rigs. That would only get you 6 store bought rigs
It’s always good to see what other people are doing. You can always learn something no matter what. There’s always someone better. Plus it really great knowing you fooled them from the ground up. Insightful video Blane
Not including labor, All in, I'm tying a double drop 1/0 bare hook rig for under 25 cents each. Seems unbelievable, but hooks, swivels and snaps are so cheap when you buy 100's at a time. A 20 lb rig seldom makes it through the day, unless I'm not catching fish. A few blues, or a shark in the mix and I'll burn through 3 or 4 rigs easy, so making them really is a huge savings. My hat's off to the guys tying them for resale. There is a need for store bought, but if you fish often, you need to make your own. Every fisherman should be self sufficient!
Great tutorial on Rig tieing, like u said if you're just starting, it's good to buy them pre made, but as u get more advance, it's so rewarding to tie your own, I must have tied about 50 😮😅 during this down season, waiting for this Spring Run 🎣🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟,, Thanks again for your Content,, Stay Safe God Bless,,

Awesome video Blane! I love the chair with the arms idea also. Even I learned something new to do with it!
