I enjoy the camera, microphone, and AI part of the Raybans; however, they are mainly sunglasses. I got prescription lenses which are fine but here is the problem-I live in Florida and the sun is bright; I have already returned a pair of smart AI sunglasses because the transition lenses I paid extra for hardly darken. Instead of truly transitioning they mainly “tint”. I even went to Lens Crafters who exposed my RayBans to UV light and did darken, but after the initial treatment went back to a light tint. No smart AI update will help improve the transitioning of the lenses and unless this gets better, I may return these RayBans also….please fix the transition lenses
I bought these and they are incredibly expensive for what they do (especially if you have prescription). First, they do not work as well as many paid reviewers are indicating. The Spotify app/connection is very spotty and you cannot ask Meta to play anything (like the Amazon glasses), you need to stream. And, there are know issues/bugs with the "Spotify Tap" which DOES NOT work. Second, the AI is also buggy. The Rabbit R1 personal assistant is better at identifying items "you are looking at" than this overpriced toy. Third, the glasses do not fit well. I tried mine for 1 day and had headaches from using them. The bifocal lenses section (for reading) is poorly placed on the lenses (an issue I read about online as well), so I found myself having to look up higher to read. Suffice to say, I am returning the Meta glasses and keep using my outdated Amazon glasses. By the way, I do not endorse the Amazon glasses either - they are outdated for what most are expecting from AR glasses. Will wait to see reviews on the Air 2.
Not really smart glasses... more or less audio video glasses... They don't have VR, or AR, or MR, only A/V, it's a niche product for short video, quick Pic, audio, with voice and ai assistant... no on glass screen display "HUD"...
How do you find this new smart eyewear from Ray-Ban?
Great quality of info
My wife just ordered me the transition lenses...hope they are as good as I heard!
I hope it meets your request.
I think you meant 5 microphones. 😂 Definitely a improvement.
