First I wanna thank the guy that did the air brakes test and the in cab inspection. He had helped me to understand better in what I had to learn to do, to get my CDL. This is video he did at night. And explained clearly every step by step on the inspection. I just passed my CDL and I wanna say thank you for that video it helped me pass and understand. Even though it was a license for my bus. Still good job
Thank you so much for this video; the only thing that I saw that was not done was checking for the ABS warning light come on and go off when initially electrifying the instrument panel.
ill have to say that was a smart idea showing the test in the dark.I was able to focus the dash and which gauge was which, then watching a pretrip day time video
I don't even remember when was the last time i ran all these tests on my truck, and i think it is a pretty good idea to do them once in a while , i know when i get in my truck tomorrow i will run these tests just to be sure.
@6:33 you mention you are waiting for your air governor to "kick in which should occur right between my 125 psi". You are actually waiting for the governor to cut out/off. Good job on the video.
In California cut-in should occur no lower than 100psi and you MUST pump brake SLOWLY. If pump fast you fail. identify and pin point cut in. Cut out no higher than 130psi. The lower air light warning should occur between 55-75psi. Spring pop out should occur between 20-45psi.
If you did the in cab inspection like this in Michigan the instructor would throw your ass out of the truck and tell you to go home. And that will be $300.00 please come again! smh...
Someone should get a gauge replaced, you should never ever ever tap a gauge to get it to move. The first time I saw you do that I would have gotten out of the vehicle, that is extremely dangerous.
Another function that you failed to mention during the brake systems check was the trolley brake check after checking both the tractor abd trailer brake tests. thank you for the video though.
This video is all it take to pass the 7 steep cab inspection. The instructor have the farfect knowledge of the truck.but the should be done in the day light since we a better instructor. But the camera men are poor. Instructor the driving school are not going to like you with this video. This is how I pass my CDL thank you.
your supposed to have the key on for the static and applied tests. automatic fail. theres no difference between from static and fandown 1. both need key on, truck in gear.

I'm guessing this is really early in the morning and not late at night. Who knows.
Nice lighting. Are you trying to steal the truck in the middle of the night?

Is this part of the test in America to get a truck license? Also is there 2 parts like here in England, a practical and a theory?

This guy is very unorganized, he needs a system to help those struggling students remember what he's saying, he's all over the map.
