Wow, I must say there are plenty of videos out there giving tips but your hacks are TRULY useful on top of being professionally presented! Thank you for sharing.
The zoom feature was *very* useful suggestion and I thought was a downside that it behaved as scaling. Now that I know how to have both, it really adds an extra level of comfort. This is what I Love about Procreate, how it’s just letting you do your thing without breaking your workflow or slowing you down with multitude of UI taps. Something that Affinity Photo just hasn’t perfected yet. Thanks for your video,
I dont have the iPadPro as yet so im on youtube learning as much as I can, I even downloaded the Procreate Pocket for my iPhone and ..... Im honestly blown away by what the app is capable of! I cannot wait to get this device to create some art!! Awesome Thank you for sharing !!!!
Thanks for these great tips for accessing the deeper features of Procreate's elegant interface. The program developers did a great job building Procreate.
I learned something I haven't seen in any manual: You can browse your artwork in the gallery view by 3-finger-pinch-out. Then you can swipe right or left to go to your next/previous art work. It's the best.
Appreciate the extra help! I just got my ipad and pencil combo at the beginning of March and I've been picking it up okay, but I knew I was missing out on features I saw people using in Instagram videos to speed up the process, especially the drag and drop color fill! Super helpful and I can't wait to go through your other videos while I'm spending time at home!
I really appreciate your ‘to the point’ demonstrations on learning Procreate. Can I please ask you if there’s a way to toggle between 2 brushes without evoking the quick menu? I seem to recall a way to switch between current and last used brush with one action. Thank you for these user friendly video tutorials!
I loved your informative lesson!! May I ask PLEASE that you dont go so fast for us beginners. I used to catch on quickly but im in my late 60s and dont go as fast as I used to. Also how do you save the changes you make under the tool section. THanks for the hacks!!
I wonder if you know then about You Tube speed variation? 3 dots in the top r corner of a Y.T. Window, along with icons for Save (plus sign in a box), Share arrow etc . . will open up a menu with several options, including half speed double speed etc. Enjoy! p
At the start you mention your afraid of doing something by accident when moving your hand over the screen, I assume this is because you didn't disable the touch actions in gesture control, which is "off" by default and can cause you to unintended draw lines with your hand. For every one that uses an apple pencil to draw, tip 1 should be to disable the touch action in [gesture controls] under tap [general].
Thank you! My tip is to draw a connected shape or outline and then click and drag the color top right to inside the closed shape to fill it with color with selected color like a paint bucket. Sometimes it leaves a hairline of no color between outline and the filled color it depends on the brush used or settings or the brush maybe
Hey man, I just got an iPad and I’ve been watching many of this videos and tbh yours is the first with actual hacks and not just settings I couldve came up with myself!!! Thanks!!
Great Tutorial! One of the bests actually since I have Porcreate (September 2020) But I quite have a problem using the resize tip, it doesn’t seem to work and can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong
This was soo helpful! By the way, how did you get your opacity and size bar thing on the right? I’m left handed, and it gets really annoying when I want to draw and change the size of my brush at the same time. Thx!
who is brendan lol I know! It is the Apple Pencil but I’m using some stickers that turn into a pencil ✏️ 😂. I was also making a video review about this product, but I want to first get another sticker from another company and do a comparison video
I really thought you were gonna recycle some of the same ol same ol but no! I am so excited! Thank you! And yes they're existing features but features many of us didn't realize were an option!
how do you typically make rounded corners in Procreate? (Like the shoulder of your character?) I cant find an easier way than drawing a square and thenerasing the croner of the square and then drawing a circle.
If you look in my Santa Illustration speed paint video you will see that I create multiple small round circles for all the shoulders, knees, elbows , etc! :) Also my Instagram shows that too in my latest post
Been using pro create since day ONE and didn’t know these tricks existed. Procreate needs to do a better job at explaining and categorizing it’s features and tricks. Well done.
I’m a fan and I love your content but I have a visceral reaction to your artwork. I say that with love. I have ocd and the proportions kill me. Great composition though
What is your favourite feature or tip on Procreate? Let me know here in the comments section!

Thank you for these very helpful tips. My favorite is the QuickShape’s “tapping square will make shape from your last stroke.”

Enjoyed all the tips!!! Question on the re-editing of a quick shape. As I re-edit a quickshape creates a new shape instead of editing the first shape?
Tysm for this video I’m new to iPad and procreate :D

Quite interesting tips, great job
There’s a double tap feature on the Apple Pencil that lets you seamlessly move between eraser and pen
This was soo helpful! By the way, how did you get your opacity and size bar thing on the right? I’m left handed, and it gets really annoying when I want to draw and change the size of my brush at the same time. Thx!
It’s in the preferences menu - right side interface I think it’s called 👍✨

Do you know how to get a pro create artwork converted perfectly to svg on ipad pro? Without using the expensive illustrator?
Pls anyone can adive which screen protector is best for ipad pro when drawing, paper like??
Are you able to do this tutorial but with procreate pocket? Because I don’t have an Apple iPad 😭😭😭😭
Been using pro create since day ONE and didn’t know these tricks existed. Procreate needs to do a better job at explaining and categorizing it’s features and tricks. Well done.
I am not able to use multitouch tips for zooming canvas .. i tried but it is not working why?
Anything like this for surface pro?
