After first subscribing to you Chanel when you visited Singapore many years ago I would never had believed you would be reviewing baby gadgets but things change and it’s great you are still making content 👍 all the best to you and your family 🤗
We bought a dresser and then just got the change table pad separate. The bouncer is great for grandparents houses. We have two used bassinets and ours definietly prefers the one over the other.
@@mattofstie9298 one is the Fisher price soothing motions so far he is not a huge fan of that one and of course that's in the bedroom and then the one in the living room that he sleeps in the most looks like a bily rocking bassinet except the rocking part is broken. At my parents we have just a cheap playpen with the bassinet insert so I am hoping to get him to sleep in that next round but usually there he just sleeps in a wagon with some folded blankets underneath for comfort.
Hint for when he is crawling everywhere, which he may already be - Tents or any covered tent like thing makes babies stay put without putting them in a playpen (if people even use play pens anymore). This is from my experience, which is not vast. Only uncle material here. You have kind of seen it with his little tented play mat.
My husband and I LOVE the hatch baby. Our oldest (2 1/2 yrs old) has one in her room and we use one for our youngest too (3 months) When she finally transitions out of our room - out of the pack n’ play to the crib because I’m nursing her - I think we are planning on getting one for ourselves. 😂 Love ‘em. So helpful for nursing. And the white noice helps us sleep too.
@@heynadine we use the orange light too! It definitely provides a little more light than just the red without waking my baby to much. Perfect for nursing. My hubby’s favorite is the rain sound. I like the wave and the tv static. 😂 We usually just use the rain sounds though.
I think you’re going to love the Stokke High chair! We love ours! It’s great for baby led weaning, and we definitely noticed he’d stay in it longer when the foot stool adjusted to his feet instead of them dangling. We had our son in a crib in our room too and agree with you!
Now that we have our baby nephew, we've been looking at things that may help when we all start traveling together as a family. Hope you find some items you guys like traveling with as well. We saw the Guava family bassinet/crib may be a good item for traveling. Have you guys thought about getting one of those?
I hope you love the stokke high chair as much as we have! It is somewhat tricky to clean in all the crevices as babe gets older with messier foods but overall we've loved ours! So happy to see your family blooming 🥰 hope you're doing well
Having a white noise machine definitely helped when my son was a baby. Blocks out some noises and is calming. We still use noise 2 years later for ourselves, lol. Also, he was nearly 10lb at birth so the bassinet was useless. He was already too big for it and hated it anyway. Unless you are really tight for space, just get a convertible cot to begin with, because like you mentioned, you only get a few months use out of it.
In my day we did not have all these gadgets. It makes me wonder how on earth we got through it. However we did have a baby walker, which the internet says is suitable for 4 to 16 months. My elder daughter liked to just wander about in it, but my younger daughter raced around, crashing into everything and laughing her head off. Anyway, I definitely recommend it.
I'm shocked. I just discovered they are now illegal here in the UK too. I looked at some stock photos on line, and saw some very dangerous looking designs. The one that we had was safe because the legs were splayed outwards, so it was impossible for a child to tip it over. At the time I was head of the safety committee at the company where I worked, so no way would I have bought anything dangerous for the home, nor tolerate anything dangerous at work despite a few rows with the manager.

Congrats on becoming a mom btw! Dresser/change pad is a good combo. Which bassinets did you try?

I might need one of those white noise machines for myself!
Haha, it's actually quite nice. The soft, dimmable light and customizable colours is a nice bonus 👍
Well, I certainly don't need any baby gear ...
Oh wait, nine minutes of adorable baby video clips! Win!! 😊
Hahah yup!
I’m absolutely enjoying all of these baby videos & need more of them xoxo
HI5 buddy, awesome video buddy!

That’s good to hear! So far so good :) haha it’s funny isn’t it with bassinets

Yea or a pack n play is good too cause you can use it for travel in the future
We had the exact same bassinet and our daughter also never slept in it 😅😂
Love the baby carriers I use that a lot as well! Great ideas girly
❤️

They’re illegal in Canada
This is true, they don’t sell them in Canada. Apparently the US is one of the only places that still sell them

Great video.
