I don't have a baby, but it would be really interesting to see what products you bought for Lennon that you DIDN'T end up needing :) I love these new series, you are glowing!!
Agree! She is a new mom and new moms tend to go overboard as did I lol. I recently had baby #3 and let me tell u this baby didn’t like anything from his bassinet, swing, bouncer! They are all brand new just sitting in my home taking up space. Gotta put them up for sale! So much money is wasted on unnecessary gimmicky things lol
For folks who are financially unable to afford all these items, replace breastfeeding pillows by stacking bedroom pillows and rolling up bath towels, wedging them under your arm and baby, also really works!
Also it's important to note that everyone has different preferences.. me and my bestie friend both dont use breastfeeding pillows because it feels like a hassle to set it up each time, we just rather whip out the boob and feed quickly, wherever lol
Also for those that cannot afford the blue land cleaning products, vinegar is a great, effective, affordable, non toxic, and earth friendly product. Plus, you probably have it at home already!
Well I would like to see and hear all our grandmas who raised up to ten children. All happy kids are good kids. Give your baby love and food all she need is you. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m not even a mother, but I subscribed because I love how honest, real, and heartfelt your content is- this has become even more apparent as you became a mom. Good luck on your journey. I wish you the best. You’re doing great! 😊💗
I'm not planning on having kids, but there's something in the way Jenn presents that makes me excited for these lil reviews! I'll also never be over how she pronounces "button" 🧸
I’ve been watching you since middle school Jenn, and now I’m in my second year of university ❤️ so beautiful to have witnessed your growth and transition to motherhood! You’re the older sister I’ve always wanted :)
Just for all those new mums out there who haven't got a lot of money: I have two kids, youngest has just turned 6 months and i do not have any of these products. You can get by fine with cheaper versions of everything or even omit some of these purchases. It's the moments you create with your baby that matters most, not the materialistic things :)
I find this comment unnecessary. There is nothing wrong with having materials or making your life easier by purchasing these items. This is her video and her suggestions. If you don’t find them helpful, that’s fine. But the last sentence is totally uncalled for. We’re not here to shame people for wanting material things.
@@HeatherPonyweather youtube comment section is a bunch of people with low self esteem feeling good and superior after shitting on people who have more things than them. Twitter in a nutshell
Out of all the items mentioned, I would say the most helpful (in my motherhood journey) has been a diaper pail, breastfeeding pillow and an electric breast pump. Also, we started using white noise machines with our 2nd child and that helped us all fall asleep better. On another note, I see many viewers state the items on the video are expensive, just know that they are not a necessity. Your babies will be fine as long they have you to assist them with their needs. Our grandmothers and mothers did fine without any of the modern technologies and so will you.
20 weeks with my 2nd and struggling mentally and physically. I’m still so nauseous and just ready for this baby to be here already. Your videos really help me have perspective and take it day by day ❤️
People offended by Jenn's essentials are just weird. She has the money to buy comfort and things to make her life more pratical. That's nice. No one needs to buy all of this, but you should stop shamming her and making comments like "all your kid need is love". Yes, that's the most important thing, but if they can afford things to make life a bit more comfortable, that's fine and people should stop judging that.
The problem is that she's calling these "essentials", which makes other new moms think that they are not doing enough for their kids if they don't have those "essentials".
This comment might seem weird. I am from Romania, I have no baby atm (not a pshychographic target, just been a fan for a long time) but I wanted to say that you are great, amazing, powerful and so so caring. This is coming from someone who just sees you and your evolution and I am so happy for everything you are going through - even if it's hard. Might be just a comment in the wall, but damn woman, you are beautiful and thriving. I hope you deal with your health anxities in a way that makes you feel like you've got your persona back. That's all, good health and keep on going!
It’s amazing that most of the viewers are not even mothers and are young people in their early 20s but still just watching this with so much love because it’s Jenn ❤️ 🥺well, if this is what is true treasure!
im in love with you right now, I'm 14weeks pregnant and bingeing any content I can find involving babies and pregnancy. Im still learning A LOT and when watching some other videos I find myself pausing the video to google questions about what exactly the speaker is talking about or why they're saying certain things but you explain everything you discuss so beautifully and everything you say is so open and honest. The emotional journey is your confessions video was so relatable. loving everything ive seen!
A lot of the items featured aren’t feasible for my family, but what really helped us was a swing. Putting him in for a nap while I take quick shower helped. It’s also good for my husband as well for his virtual meetings. Our little guy will nap in it. Our sister in law loves it as well and most likely give it to her since she’s a mom of a 2 month old.
I m still adulting and I like to learn all new things that will help me grow in life,i have zero idea about baby's or kids this video will definitely help in the future on how to take care a baby or the essentials that will help, and maybe i can help others with this information. Thanks jenn on uploading this informative video.
Jenn -not sure if you know this, but there are comfy bras that have accessibility for pumping and breastfeeding and you can keep them on as a regular bra! It was great when I discovered this while pumping because I didn’t have to be changing in and out of that one you showed. A little upgrade, if it works for you! Much love xx ❤️
I’m sorry, but it just makes me so happy seeing this excitement in Jenn about being a mom when I remember the moments she was freaking out about it and unsure if it was the right time. She’s amazing and with Ben...two amazing parents 💛
Hey Jen, My baby just turned 3 months and my hubby and I have been getting a full nights sleep thanks to this schedule I picked up from the book Moms on Call. For 8-16 weeks baby 5 am feed 6:30 am 1 hour half nap 8 am Feed then play 9:30 am 1 hours and half nap 11 am feed then play 12: 30 am 1 hours and half nap 2pm feed them play 3:30 pm 1 hours and half nap 5 pm feed then play 6:30 cat nap 45-1hr nap 7: 30 pm bath time routine 8:00 pm bedtime feeding then play 8: 30 put crib Literal lifesaver the first couple of nights the baby will fuss a little bit but you have to let him cry it out and put himself to sleep. The fox say so you can rub his belly to see him but do not pick him up from the crib. After that he will love sleeping in his own crib all night with this new schedule 😊
Thank you Jenn for sharing!! Been watching you for years! I’m currently 15weeks and looking at things to buy during the black friday sales so this video came at the perfect time! Didn’t even think about getting a mini fridge for breastmilk and now we must get one!! ❤️
I’m first time pregnant and find out that you so much help me and calm down my worries about being pregnant and becoming a mom !!!!! Thank you so so much!!!! I’m trusting you and your recommendations!!! Always waiting for your videos 💙🙏🏾
Hi Jenn! Dunno why I started watching this since mine are past this stage, but I have a tip on the Haakaa! I used the one you're using in the video for my first, but for my second, I upgraded to the Haakaa Ladybug Silicone Milk Collector, which was a game changer for me. It is like the Haakaa you're using, but it doesn't have suction. Instead, you slip it into your nursing bra and it collects leaked milk without spills or the Haakaa popping off (as it sometimes does). Since you can put it in your shirt, it's very discreet if you're breastfeeding while friends and family are around or if you're out.
I just found out about your channel! Im currently 22 weeks pregnant with my baby boy and your videos with your pregnancy has been really helpful. I too also am going through some mental stuff especially with work but I’m working through it!
I am rewatching this now that I am pregnant. I am in search for the necessities because I do not want to buy too much coz babies grow really fast. Some that you showed were really helpful and I’ve added them to my list. Thank you Jenn 💕
99% water baby wipes contain hidden chemical preservatives, not ideal for newborns. So, what's the solution? You should use baby wipes made with 100% water. Either use a cloth with water or opt for water-only wipes like Blissmile chemical free baby wipes. It's a must for your baby's well-being.
Y'all are so disgusting for shaming a new mom who is clearly just trying her best. The video clearly says 'MY', she's not calling these essentials everyone needs they are just things she uses. And any parent who can afford to buy the best for their child and make life easier for themselves will do it. She has all this money, if she's not gonna spend it on her son who else will she spend it on. Let her be.
I've worked in West Afrika for three years and I've seen a lot of mums with their babies. They only thing they had : a loincloth in wich they wraped them and that's it. We are in such a materialistic society, it's scary.
For everyone hating on Jenn saying that these are all expensive items and inaccessible for “normal” people, she clearly stated “MY” in the title. You could also easily find these secondhand on Facebook marketplace or Mercari. The way I see it is, these items are investments, if you plan on having more than one kid. you could also make some money off of them once you’re done with them. And honestly if you have some money saved up, these items could be attainable. BUT you could get by with cheaper alternatives that get the job done just the same, after all our mothers and grandmothers managed to keep us alive lol. Let first time moms live their life.
The doona was a lifesaver for us! We used it for our 2nd boy up til he was 19 mos. Definitely recommend it! I also recommend the Uppababy stroller! It's super functional and the handle (maneuverability) is great!
Did you get both at the same time? I’m debating whether to get the $1399 package of 3 including the car seat or just the $1099 package of 2 plus the doona as the car seat
Can we all just leave jenn alone if we dont have anything helpful or positive to say? We can stop calling her materialistic or shaming her for not including affordable products. This is her video and her suggestions. If you dont have the budget or find these items useful, just leave it alone. This is what she can afford and what she found helpful for her child. She was willing to invest in these products. You dont have to. It’s as simple as that.
Hey Jenn! I'm also a new mom. My daughter will be 5 months next week! Some other things I'd recommend are the Love to Dream swaddle, Momcozy wearable breast pump, a baby carrier (i have the babybjorn mini), a swing (i have the fisher price fox swing), Itomoro baby car mirror camera.
Lol kimchi fridge...Yes! This is a great video and so helpful. I'm a mom of a toddler. You can use the UV light for teether, toys and books. You could use the fridge for kids snacks so they can help themselves. They are constantly eating all day long.
You would love Owlet it’s a sock that monitors baby’s heart rate and oxygen and alarms you if something is wrong. It’s a must for me and my son because I lost a brother to SIDS so yeah I love how I always know he is safe.
I have a one year old and half of the things mentioned here aren’t essentials in my opinion…and you can definitely either get cheaper alternatives or preloved items for free or at a more affordable price. It’s really not that expensive to care for a newborn, especially if you are ok w hand me downs. Not wise to spend that much money on such things I feel, seeing that babies outgrow these things really quickly. But hey, if you have the money to splurge on such things, you do you.
I love your what you eat in a week videos and as a new mom I would love to see your weekly routine! Even if it doesn't seem like it might be exciting for us viewers...we are here for your journey!
On summer, I think V-Fyee mosquito net cover for stroller also is an baby essentials. It can keep bugs flyings out of your baby when you can take your baby outdoor walking. recommended!
My firstborn is turning 2 month old next month and everyday is a learning curve. I feel like I’m always on Amazon looking for baby stuff and this video is so helpful! Hopefully you do more videos like this as Lennon continues to grow. ☺️
A tip someone said for changing baby boy diapers is to wipe around the pubic bone then tuck it under the diaper there for a couple mins so they pee before diaper change. I started doing it and he hasn't peed on me since (been a couple months now). Milage may vary. Lol. I am going to try teether mitts this weekend. They are 3 mths and teething already! 😬 I also need a jolly jumper and something for the to sit up in as they just want to jump and sit now....
Thanks for the Blueland referral and discount code. I have been searching for a clean solution for my daughter and this was perfect. I purchased the larger cleaning set so she has everything to get her started.

As a preschool teacher, the Snoo is the worst. All the kids that used them have such difficulty self soothing as toddlers and have very short sleep windows. I hope they don’t become more popular.
So helpful! I’m 36 weeks with my first and still worried I don’t have everything we need. This video gave me some piece of mind :). By the way, where did you get your lounge set you’re wearing?
OMGGGG JENNN, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to make this video!! I've been watching you throughout my whole pregnancy, this is so awesome. Thank you!!
I used to babysit my newborn siblings ^your a really good new mom : ) all the products you bought are really and that’s so true the baby might either love the bed thing or hate it
I am due in 2 months and definitely will be getting most of these items! thank you! i finally found someone that seems to have the same style as I do! Will be ff for more reviews! Awesome content and picks!
thank you for all the recommendations jenn! definitely bookmarking this video for whenever my hubby and i get to that next chapter in our marriage 😅 my BIL just had a baby girl and they use the doona as well and love it! i've heard of "branch basics" for cleaning products which are suppose to be very safe as well (just in case) :)
My son was sitting up on his own very early, skipped crawling, was fully walking at 9 months, climbing/running at 1 year and potty trained at 14 months. Our Pediatrician asked us at his 9 month appointment if he had started pulling himself up yet. I set him down from my lap and he walked right to him and all over the exam room. The Dr. laughed and said well has he started college yet lol. He is 16 now and is clumsy just like his Mom. So walking early didn't do much except for my husband's and my waistline running after him.
My sister and cousin have the same stroller 😅, however I quickly noticed how there kids outgrew the seat and now they still need a separate car seat and stroller 😅
Lennon is so cute, I literally came to see him , Jen to be honest I think things have just become better since you became a mother !!! I even don’t miss the Jen before
Wow! I learned so much about babies from this video alone!! Thank you Jenn!! Please make more videos where you share your knowledge with us - i'm not in a relationship nor do I have baby! But I loved learning about all this!!
As a mom of two I approve/wish some of these items had been around when my LO were babies… That wabi sanitizer I was so excited for cause I think could use for used masks but for $400 CAD….a bit too steep then again the Snu is like $1500CAD 💸💸💸 Suggestions: once grown out of snu sleep sack try the *love to dream* sleep swaddle as it allows them to self sooth but limits movement enough to “startle” *konny baby carrier* newborn till 6m easy to put on (no stupid wrapping) and can wear into the water
I find new mums love to splurge on lots of baby essential things. But i did find there is alot what you end up not need to. Which i would just buy the actual essentials or something that you would get alot of use too. Or going to have loads of babies in the future to use them again. Even in hospital bag pack i see people pack so much you don’t really know until you give birth what you actually will be using. And your partner can always bring them if need when they visit. I didn’t cut my son’s nails until he was one year’s old i just use mittens and also baby gros have that function too. Baby steriliser i just use the bottle steamer after washing the bottles.

Have a monitor and camera ready to go and set up in the crib. If he is anything like my independent child, he will just decided one day that he is ready to move out of your room, into the big crib and we were NOT ready! We like the vava monitor and camera as it has a seperate monitor so you don't have to use your phone for it all.

I don't have a baby YET but it's just so helpful for me to watch this video knowing it can prep me better in the future. Aww, the smeg fridge is so adorable! I've always wanted to have one in a regular size but it's just so expensive lol. Lennon at 8:01 that expression😍😍 I just wanna bite on those cheeks and I hope I don't sound creepy LOL. The playmat looks so stylish and cute! LOL that comment about Lennon being a grown man because he doesn't want to be held😆 oh, I'm in love with the stroller already! So many benefits about it! I heard baby sleep well listening to white noises. It's just like I'm already used to sleeping with the fan on because the sound puts me to sleep and suddenly if I don't hear that sound I'll have difficulty sleeping lol. Hope to see a video of you and Ben playing with lennon someday when he gets a little older!
Loved watching this :) I have purchased several items recommended in this video myself! The link to the pumping bra looks different to the one Jenn is holding in the video - any idea where to get that one from?

Hey Jen,
My baby just turned 3 months and my hubby and I have been getting a full nights sleep thanks to this schedule I picked up from the book Moms on Call.
For 8-16 weeks baby
5 am feed
6:30 am 1 hour half nap
8 am Feed then play
9:30 am 1 hours and half nap
11 am feed then play
12: 30 am 1 hours and half nap
2pm feed them play
3:30 pm 1 hours and half nap
5 pm feed then play
6:30 cat nap 45-1hr nap
7: 30 pm bath time routine
8:00 pm bedtime feeding then play
8: 30 put crib
Literal lifesaver the first couple of nights the baby will fuss a little bit but you have to let him cry it out and put himself to sleep. The fox say so you can rub his belly to see him but do not pick him up from the crib. After that he will love sleeping in his own crib all night with this new schedule 😊

This is so perfect! A couple of my friends are new mothers so these would make great Christmas gift ideas : )
@James not really, some of these are very much luxury items so they may not have them all
Saga is the same way! Sometimes she wants her own independence to just sit and look at her surroundings. It’s so damn cute!

Why do you need a fridge at all? Milk is fine for up to 4 hours left out and you can add to the same milk if it’s the same temp.

Some other things I'd recommend are the
Love to Dream swaddle,
Momcozy wearable breast pump,
a baby carrier (i have the babybjorn mini),
a swing (i have the fisher price fox swing),
Itomoro baby car mirror camera.
anyone else automatically like all of jenn’s videos before watching because you just know ur gonna be in for a treat no matter what 🥺
Lol kimchi fridge...Yes!
Even if it doesn't seem like it might be exciting for us viewers...we are here for your journey!
me watching this video while I’m 24 with no children and absolutely have no plans for children any time soon but still supporting 💕
On summer, I think V-Fyee mosquito net cover for stroller also is an baby essentials. It can keep bugs flyings out of your baby when you can take your baby outdoor walking. recommended!
Jenn! Would you do a hair tutorial? I love how much volume there is at the ends of your hair.
Lucky to have been born in the 90's. Very resourcesful and smart of you.
As a preschool teacher, the Snoo is the worst. All the kids that used them have such difficulty self soothing as toddlers and have very short sleep windows. I hope they don’t become more popular.
Oh no! I have a friend that uses it! Should she stop? Her son is 6 months old and doesn’t sleep through the night or that well!
Wow this was so informative, I'd never even heard of some of these items before. Thanks for the recommendations Jenn!
So helpful! I’m 36 weeks with my first and still worried I don’t have everything we need. This video gave me some piece of mind :). By the way, where did you get your lounge set you’re wearing?
I have the same question! It looks so comfy!
Thank you!! 3rd trimester here. Need all the tips I can get!
I have a baby just about a month older than you! We've been loving the Upseat since she's starting to learn to sit up :)
Good Job on this video, you nailed it man. First time parents please watch this! Love how you explained the purpose for each item. You sold it girl.
OMGGGG JENNN, you have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to make this video!! I've been watching you throughout my whole pregnancy, this is so awesome. Thank you!!
I used to babysit my newborn siblings ^your a really good new mom : ) all the products you bought are really and that’s so true the baby might either love the bed thing or hate it
Still can’t believe you are a momma!!🤗🙏👶🏿
I don’t even have a marry neither am I pregnant. Yet I’m here for Jenn’s vibe 💜
I am due in 2 months and definitely will be getting most of these items! thank you! i finally found someone that seems to have the same style as I do! Will be ff for more reviews! Awesome content and picks!
I have no children or plans to have any but I am still going to throughly enjoy this video
thank you for all the recommendations jenn! definitely bookmarking this video for whenever my hubby and i get to that next chapter in our marriage 😅 my BIL just had a baby girl and they use the doona as well and love it! i've heard of "branch basics" for cleaning products which are suppose to be very safe as well (just in case) :)
It's so cool how all the people I grew up watching are pregnant with me! 🤗 Congrats!!
My sister and cousin have the same stroller 😅, however I quickly noticed how there kids outgrew the seat and now they still need a separate car seat and stroller 😅
The day keeps getting better all my favourite RUclipsrs are posting. What a nice way to end the week. Like your videos Jenn
I’m so proud of you! You’re literally prepping me for motherhood lol I have a feeling it’s coming soon. God sent! 🤍
this is the boujiest newborn “essentials” i’ve ever seen and i’m crying bc i’ll never be able to be this mom
Lennon is so cute, I literally came to see him , Jen to be honest I think things have just become better since you became a mother !!! I even don’t miss the Jen before
Would love an updated version of this, especially in hindsight now that Lennon is much bigger!
Very to the point ,the best video I’ve watched so far everybody else takes forever to explain
makes me feel excited about being an adult and starting a family
Im so proud of you Jenn, you’re an amazing mother
Omg you guys are so adorable on the thumbnails 🥺
Are the colors intentional i love how the color palette of babies stuff is neutraaaal
I’m gonna refer back to this when I have a little one. Love your videos even if I can’t relate (at the moment).
Wow! I learned so much about babies from this video alone!! Thank you Jenn!! Please make more videos where you share your knowledge with us - i'm not in a relationship nor do I have baby! But I loved learning about all this!!
This!!! I've been looking of what to give for my friend's baby shower. 💕
As a mom of two I approve/wish some of these items had been around when my LO were babies…
That wabi sanitizer I was so excited for cause I think could use for used masks but for $400 CAD….a bit too steep then again the Snu is like $1500CAD 💸💸💸
Suggestions: once grown out of snu sleep sack try the *love to dream* sleep swaddle as it allows them to self sooth but limits movement enough to “startle”
*konny baby carrier* newborn till 6m easy to put on (no stupid wrapping) and can wear into the water
you should share what books you read during pregnancy!
Sounds about right Jenn! Glad you finally got the hang of motherhood ❤️
Can confirm most of these products are amazing and use daily
99% water baby wipes contain hidden chemical preservatives, not ideal for newborns. So, what's the solution? You should use baby wipes made with 100% water. Either use a cloth with water or opt for water-only wipes like Blissmile chemical free baby wipes. It's a must for your baby's well-being.
우런니 고등학생때부터 옷 리폼하고 다잉하는것부터 봤었는데..어느새..크흡ㅠㅠㅠ 행복하세요❤️
been watching you since clothesencounters-- i love seeing you be so excited to be a mother. :)
Always a brighter day when Jenn post a video!
I'm gonna come back to these videos when I have my baby 🥰, ty for sharing
Ooh I might just get those cleaners/soap! There’s even holidays scented tablets for the soap! Thanks for the discount!
get a dockatot!! my baby loves lounging in it and for supervised naps
Can you make a video on how you use Notion or any other apps to help organize your pre and post partum life?
Ugh thanks so much for blessing us with a video Jenn!!! You look amazing and lennon is so cute !
A lot of the items mentioned are super pricey and have much more affordable options but maybe this wasn’t made for “me” lol
Jenn you such a great mum!! Sending love from Indonesia
Loved watching this :) I have purchased several items recommended in this video myself! The link to the pumping bra looks different to the one Jenn is holding in the video - any idea where to get that one from?
