  • Century Root Barriers to help protect sidewalks from trip and fall hazards caused by aggressive tree roots. Prior to root pruning trees should be inspected by a Certified Arborist, to observe the tree root structure and to ensure the tree is a suitable candidate for root pruning. All trees subject to root pruning should also have a crown reduction and 1/3 of the volume thinned and trimmed to reduce and heavy wind cell factors. Installing root barrier next to sidewalks help to prevent trip and fall injuries.

Not solving the tree situation; very obvious by the roots around the tree that you have a soil compaction and irrigation problem, you need to do an airspade and soil modification and while the airspade was there the roots at the sidewalk could have been revealed, pruned in a less invasive manner to prevent root rot, then use your product.
