I just bought one. I am retired so it will be mostly for journaling and daily reflections. I definitely want to use fountain pens in it, so I hope they don't bleed through. It seems like the paper is different from some of the other tomoe river papers. I appreciate you showing the pen tests and I will be using watercolors in there as well.
Hi Shari! I think we are going to love it! The paper does seem different but still robust and I was happy with all the tests! I can't wait to see it start to fill up!
Hi Hibino twin! 🥰 I might try watercolors in mine! 🤔 You are right about the paper... it is not the same. Will be interesting to see how it does with lots of fountain pen writing 😊
I'll be using the hibino in 2024 too. I agree there isn't many videos on it at mo, there are some Instagram accounts though. I'm excited to start using it next year.
Hi there, I was so tempted to get one this year-please video as you use it. I’d be interested to see how it holds up/what it looks like att the end.I like to stuff mine, but I think I’d have to be more careful and only use rub on stickers and washi maybe? I’m so unsure of my set ups for 2024. I’ve gone for an A6 Take A Note for work (loving the double column), A5 Cousin for journaling/memory keeping, plus TNs for collaging/junk journaling. But I’m still uncertain-as this year I had an A6 Hobonichi as well and I think I might miss thee crinkle!! It’s @paperandfelt btw!
Hi Cathy! Great to match up your accounts! I am looking forward to starting on 1st January and will definitely post updates on Instagram and here! I am worried about the bulk too so I will keep that elsewhere as much as possible! With the smaller A6 size it will often be easier to post stuff in a B6 or A5 anyway. Oh, I love your set up for this year! I don't currently have any hobonichi's for this year but I will definitely miss them (although I do have the common planner which is Tomoe River Paper too!). Enjoy. Can't wait to see your books for 2024 in use and the beauty you create!
Hope to see more from you! 🫶🏽
Thank you! I need to get back to posting regularly on here. I am very active on Instagram!
I just bought one for this year and i plan to use it as a creative writing journal with writing prompts throughout the year.
Oh, this sounds good! Will you post updates? Where is best to follow you? @sabsk122
Mine is arriving this weekend. I am so excited! I love that is has no weeklies.
Fantastic! Enjoy. It is just so chunky and cute!
