Great question! It did get harder but I managed it ok, I didn't write as close to the spine on the later pages and sometimes I lifted up the less chunky side by putting books underneath. I think I could have bent the pages back too and the spine would have held up fine. I was also quite free where I wrote it stuck things so I probably could have stuck more on the "awkward" parts? Enjoy it!

By the way, how would you assess the spine condition after you finished a whole year's worth of content? Does it look like it will hold up for a long time? Did it stretch or degrade in any way? Really curious.

@nunuuu no worries! The binding and the spine is really strong! It is very curved (I think I show it in the video) but holding strong and I had no concerns. If you add a similar amount to me of stickers, washi tape, tip ins, random ephemera, you should be absolutely fine. It can cope!

Hi Cathy! Great to match up your accounts! I am looking forward to starting on 1st January and will definitely post updates on Instagram and here! I am worried about the bulk too so I will keep that elsewhere as much as possible! With the smaller A6 size it will often be easier to post stuff in a B6 or A5 anyway. Oh, I love your set up for this year! I don't currently have any hobonichi's for this year but I will definitely miss them (although I do have the common planner which is Tomoe River Paper too!). Enjoy. Can't wait to see your books for 2024 in use and the beauty you create!

@missrockabi sorry to say that I haven't used Midori before, so I don't have a comparison and I have heard mixed reviews. I was happy with the performance here though. I am using the Midori Hibino next year as my journal so I hope this performs well too.

@missrockabi it is B6 size (my new favourite size! And I will do full ten tests tonight and try to film a quick video update over the weekend. Watch this space! It starts from October so I have started doing a mock layout too to get my head around them!

@dmr210 Yay! Glad to help. Previously I have found the Nolty planners to be really good with fountain pens and any inks and pens I used in them, so I am hoping this will be the same with this one! I am happy to do some pen tests and share in a future video to reassure you. Which Nolty(s) are you considering for 2024?
