Very beautiful piece
Omg a new post! So happy! And the music choice is beautiful to, love the piece and the emotion and of course the picture 😉
omg, I really love this song, thank u for this!
I wonder if the title is "greeting of love" or "goodbye of love"...
More a goodbye of love... salut meaning greeting isnt usually used as a noun like the goodbye meaning
Its more like when you use hi in english... its quite familiar to use "salut" to say hello or goodbye directly to Someone... but the noun "salut" is more a goodbye, or a gest (idk if this word exist xD )
However we use it a lot, in a lot of ways in popular french
@@enzodea1347 Thank you for this! I am learning french and these facts are very helpful.
@@enzodea1347 Elgar used to call the piece "Liebesgruss" (his wife was a fluent German speaker.). Which means Love Greeting, he translated it to French because he thought the piece would sell more in Europe. So He mean't Greeting instead of Goodbye.
Gruß (the beta looking letter is a „sharp s“) in German is the noun describing various ways of greetings. „Abschiedsgruß“ describes ways of saying goodbye, you‘re right.
Thanks for posting! Keep it up!!
*“Did it reach her?”*
