The 1980s action movies rule! 😂
90’s
One of the best comedies, lol
They certainly do
@@DJ_SquallYT 🤔 this was real I was there
The music, sound effects, acting.. Man,, this is what movies has lost. Absolutely brings back so many good memories
There's so much 80s packed into this one scene... It's beautiful
We need the 80s to come back
also hilarious
Bro yes it got mullet energy worse than a modern woodstock/coachella

@@omgitspartan117 maybe not completely, but movies like this for sure
The background music in this movie is beautiful.
The Blood Sport music track is on RUclips, and Apple Music
@@evox187JCVD movies had hert similar music sound tracks, Cyborg is one of my favorites.

"Sorry you were never laid."

Underated
Lololo
witty comment
They gonna say that at your death as well lad
You left out the part where Bolo Yeung says, "Bricks don't hit back."
He actually says "Very good, but brick not hit back"
😂😂😂
Rock*
Classic line
But,, the death touch doesn't give time to take reaction...😎
Jean Claude help make that Era of time just the best of all Eras of movies.
I miss watching these movies with my late father. I’m going to watch bloodsport.
So he was a good father. God bless your father. 😢 🌹🌺👍🏽
Fun fact - they offered to have a stunt double play the brick but the brick said it would be more authentic to do the stunt itself and actually shattered into a million pieces just for the shot. True dedication.
Nice

The only comment worthy of this video. You win!
I appreciate your humor
As the brick that exploded on that set, I can confirm that this is true
The cuts to everybody’s face was the most important part.
Bolo was that ninja
Anime movie.
Yeah true😂
So anime ahah

I miss The 80's.😭
Hello, how old are you? I was 80, a 4-year-old child. At that time, people were good, diseases were less, lives were simpler, there were no mobile phones, but life was very good, I always want to go back to the days of my youth. But alas, this is not possible! 😢😢 Good Luck 😔👍🏽
I miss the 80s too
I was born in 2003
I don't know why 80s movies and songs give me nostalgic feeling, as if that era was my childhood
Не скучай и иди вперёд. Не оглядывайся назад. Что было то было наше. Теперь время других. А через лет 30-40 нынешний молодежь будут также скучать по нынешним временам.
I understand you you so well
One of the all time best scenes in action movies.
If it’s in slow motion. You know it’s a good 80s movie.

Don't forget timecop
there's a GREAT movie from the early 80s with a bunch of different colored ninjas....gotta find it! 🧐
@@alanshoebridge1927 yes, kickboxer, the quest, double impact. He was making classic movies back then. Never get old.
This scene looks pretty "simple" but actually is a masterclass, how they build tension and shows the character trough his movement, there is a thing with martial arts action movies, the narration of the characters is made with the movements, every fight is meaningfull, love this movie
Lo maximo en la pilicula
Are You a director of movie action, You are right, like it
Van Damme literally was able to break physics.
He literally didn’t. Learn the definition of the word
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheritrix5733You must be so fun at parties.
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheritrix5733 why Jack?
Actually possibile and its fun to think that you invent the technology or the technique for this
He didn't break physics Chuck Norris sneezed somewhere.
The fact that they were all minding their business then stopped just for him breaking a brick is anxiety inducing
But then quickly refills with happiness after having broken the brick like he said he could do.
you weak Lilly cupcake
We didnt have "anxiety " back then!
He is the disciple of one of most renowned martial artist so he was asked to show his master's famous technique to prove that he is legit the disciple of that master.

I love this movie! I watched it everyday after school for like 2 years..
Van Damme best movie of all time I've repeated this movie a million times
The fact there was no stunt double proves that he is a true martial artist
No actor needs a stunt double for a scene like this one!!
He's a gymnist not a martial artist

Exactly my thoughts!
This one and cyborg…
Me too
But what about nowhere to run?
Last shot is the same exact look and results when you've had too many burritos
His movies will never get old. Best movies were made around that time period. Classics! Most of all he always made me laugh with his sound effects when he punch or kick someone. 😂😂😂
"Everyone, this is an 80s action movie. Stop what you're doing and gather around, but very quietly."

Kickboxer anyone? 💪🦵👍♥️💜♥️💜✌️
90s
Movies today do the same
Nah, fr!
I was always amazed by the ageless wonder that is Bolo Yeung! He barely aged a day since Enter the Dragon.
Bro, he just got better
Retired in Los Angeles California ✌️🤟🤙
Bolo wasn’t that old during this movie. I believe he was in his mid 30’s only. When he was in Enter the Dragon, he was in his mid 20’s like the young Jackie Chan.
Bolo is just the all time best.
He was like 50 when this movie was filmed and no one could tell.
Bro taught me everything I know about being dramatic.
Best movie ever made!!! Hands down!!
Steven Seagal would just talk smack to the brick and it would explode from the massive amount of B.S.

Awesome movie based on real events that made this movie even more dope
Was a huge fan of Van Dam growing up in the 80s. Going back on these vintage videos, I could not help but notice how he always had his pants pulled up to his rib cage to give the appearance that his legs were longer. It's so funny.

A lot of Van Damme's flicks weren't high level acting by any means, but I grew up watching them and they'll remain iconic for me...
Blood sport is one of them, a classic for me.

The most epic scene of the entire movie. Getting recognized in an instant by all your future adversaries is a prize in itself.

This is one of my guilty pleasure films. It's pure martial arts cheese, and I love it!
They don't make them like that anymore but they should...
It shouldn't be a guilty pleasure, it's a legitimately well made movie
