  • I'm backpacking northern India as a female traveller and we're at the end of our trip - we've been to Delhi, Udaipur, Pushkar, Jaipur, Ranthambore and now Agra! We ticked off a wonder of the world and a UNESCO world heritage site by visiting the Taj Mahal which has been on my bucket list for years.
This is my first impressions and also the reality of visiting the Taj Mahal in 2024, as well as trying authentic local Indian street food!
This video was filmed in February 2024 🇮🇳

Agra is basically only worth it for the Taj Mahal. Otherwise don't even bother staying there for more than one day. Mumbai, Kerala on the south, Laddakh, Dharmashala in the far north, Northeastern States of fhe Seven Sisters are pretty as well, famous for natura beauty. Shimla or Kashmir for the snow. Rajasthan for palaces, forts, culture, and lot of history. These are the recommended places. If you're into Yoga then Rushikesh, which is famous for spiritual stuff. Delhi is only worth it if you're not going to stereotypical places like Chandni Chawk and Old Delhi, ( don't go there, very old, dirty and chaotic, not for tourism) South delhi is very nice, very affluent area of the city. Goa is a party destination for beach lovers. There are also beaches in Mumbai.
