I worked on the Comm Games buildings in Delhi.
At the time we tried to source stone for the stadiums at Yamuma ,Siri Fort ,Delhi uni grand stand & Thyagaraga.
The Makrama marble quarry way deemed not suitable for these projects
Granites from Bangalore were used at Siri Fort .with Red Delhi sandstone used extensivly externalliy in the Landscape at Siri Fort.

I'm overwhelmed by the very unflattering contrast made self evident here, between the splendor and excellence of this one plot of land, surrounded by slums. Makes me question the bigger picture here. Questions a lot about the government and the people, both then and through to now, some 400 years now? While it's obvious the Taj was built to last, nothing around it was, apparently still is not. I accept the relative longevity of anything built of stone, as I can see the current local neighborhoods are, but that's it, the rest of the place is... slum. I bet there's really nice places for tourists to stay though.

Even now the poor, the handicapped are treated less than a common dog. With thousands of 'g'ods, these people are doomed unless they wakeup, love thy neighbor and realize there is only one true God.

Great documentary... Please do a similar video on the "Kailash Temple" of Ellora caves (another architectural marvel, but sadly underrated).

Guys watch Druv Rathee to know about the structure, it is Taj Mahal not Tejo Mahlaya, there is not evidence that it was Tejo Mahalaya, it was owned by a hindu raja then sold it to Shah Jahan, that is why there is so much controversy behind the building, plus the Mughals weren't so cheap, or else their descendants aould have been rich by now, but one thing is for sure, Taj Mahal is Taj Mahal, don't be ashamed so much, what has been done is done, the building is one of the reasons India has tourists

We went many years ago on Valentine’s Day, which was appropriate.
It was spectacular but smelled like dirty feet inside.
    Still it was beautiful. ❤

We can't explore, there is no ventilation system and if too much oxygen goes there underground, then the strucure may colapse, there is no actual evidence or historical past before Taj Mahal, all we know that a Hindu Raja owned tis land ten sold it to Shah Jahan.

Who ever made this should be ashamed of themselves. What a cheap production. Why is everybody trying to hide our history? The Taj Mahal was obviously built on an older structure that seems to have been hidden for some reason. I think it’s time we actually find out what’s what

Such uneducated junks will one day demolish Taj Mahal... They hate the fact smart Moghuls conquered weak Hindu kings who were fighting each other and ruled india for centuries. Stinking polluted usmuns river will destroy Taj Mahal. Swatch bharath remains to be seen after 10 years of Modi promise.
